Two people were killed in separate shootings overnight in Queens and Brooklyn, police said Saturday.
The deadly gunfire started in Jamaica, Queens at around 2:45 a.m. when an unidentified man in his 30s was shot in the head and torso by an unknown assailant in the vicinity of 150th Street near Liberty Avenue, cops said.
Paramedics transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:13 a.m., police said. There are no arrests, cops said.
At around 4 a.m. in Crown Heights, a 33-year-old man was fatally shot in the head on Bergen Street, between Kingston and Albany avenues, police said.
He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of both victims is being withheld pending family notification, cops said.
