A 41-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Brooklyn last month was part of a love triangle gone horribly awry, cops say.
Freddie Davis, 37, knifed love rival Kurt Pieters in the chest on East 106th Street near Avenue J in Canarsie around 2:15 a.m. June 5, authorities said.
Pieters was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Both men were in a relationship with the same woman, police said.
Davis was arrested five days after the deadly stabbing and charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said.
Cops announced Davis’ arrest and released the identities of both men Friday morning.
