Two people were hurt in separate stabbings in Manhattan, police said.
A man was stabbed in his lower torso while sitting on a bench in Tompkins Square Park in the East Village late Friday night, cops said.
The incident at East 7th Street and Avenue A occurred at around 11:25 p.m., authorities said, and EMS took the victim, 39, to Bellevue Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There have been no arrests.
Around 9:30 p.m., a man was stabbed in the neck with an unknown object at Canal and Chrystie Street on the Lower East Side, cops said.

The suspect, a man wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans, ran off eastbound on Canal Street, police said.
There have been no arrests.
