A Brooklyn straphanger was slashed in the neck and stomach by a man who had been “acting strange” on board a train during the Thursday morning rush, police said.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was wounded during an argument at around 9:30 a.m. on an R train at DeKalb Avenue, police said.
“Looks like words were exchanged in regards to the perp acting strange[ly],” an NYPD spokesman said.
The victim was treated at Methodist Hospital and expected to recover, police said.
The suspect, who was sporting dreadlocks, took off after the attack.
The incident came just days after another harrowing subway attack in Brooklyn in which two women turned on a subway-rider with a boxcutter after he confronted them about smoking on a train, cops said.
The 45-year-old man was riding a southbound A train approaching Nostrand Avenue around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday when he asked the women to stop smoking, authorities said.
Then the duo pulled out a boxcutter, before striking the man in the back of the head with an unknown object, cops said.

The victim refused medical attention for a cut on his head.
No arrests had been made by Thursday.
