A 38-year-old woman was found dead in the closet of a Brooklyn community center with a bag over her head Monday in a case the NYPD is deeming “suspicious.”

The woman was found unconscious and not breathing at the Housing Works East New York Health Center in East New York around 10:30 a.m., police said.

“We consider it suspicious,” an NYPD spokesperson said of the woman’s death.

The Office of the City Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

A person who answered the phone at the at the center — which provides medical and addiction services — on Monday afternoon declined to comment.
