A violent ex-boyfriend allegedly stabbed his former partner and fatally knifed her mother in front of the estranged couple’s kids Sunday morning in the Bronx, cops and law enforcement sources said.
Ramon Reyes, 47, allegedly carried out the double-stabbing during the domestic incident inside an apartment around 7 a.m., repeatedly stabbing his 40-year-old ex throughout her body and then plunging the blade multiple times into the chest of her 57-year-old mother, Rosemary Tapia Bautista, police said.

Cops picked up Ramon Reyes Monday morning. Tomas E.GastonThe women were rushed from the Concourse Village apartment at Park Avenue and 161st Street – less than a mile from Yankee Stadium – to Lincoln Medical Center, police said.
Tapia-Bautista died at the hospital while her daughter was listed in stable condition, police said.
Surveillance images show one of the victims being wheeled out of the apartment building and into a waiting ambulance.
Reyes, who has a criminal history, was picked up by cops around 9:30 a.m. Monday and hit with numerous charges, including murder.
The alleged killer told investigators that Tapia-Bautista made it difficult to see his ex-girlfriend and the former couple’s kids, sources said.
He allegedly smoked crack leading up to the violent attack, according to sources.

The knifing happened around 7 a.m. during an argument between one of the victims and her ex-boyfriend inside a building at Park Avenue and 161st Street, less than a mile from Yankee Stadium, sources said. He was also hit with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child because the attack happened in front of the couple’s children.
The troubled father was previously arrested in November 2024 and charged with criminal possession of stolen property and related criminal counts, according to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office.
He pleaded not guilty and was released on his own recognizance on Nov. 16, 2024, according to court records.
Reyes’ next court appearance in that case was postponed later this month after he failed to appear at an earlier court date, records show.
