Tens of thousands of people trying to get out of New York City on a commuter train line are stuck — as several train lines are down on Metro-North, the Long Island Rail Road and NJ Transit.
On Metro-North, riders are stuck at Grand Central Terminal since all lines are suspended, according to the MTA’s website.
At the same time, the Hempstead, Oyster Bay, Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma lines are all suspended because of downed wires on Merillon Avenue in Garden City.
Meanwhile on NJ Transit, Main and Bergen County and Port Jervis train service is suspended in both directions between Suffern and Port Jervis because of a power outage.
