Thousands of New Yorkers had to walk yesterday — and some did it in style!
Well, it was Halloween after all, and Sandy the monster didn’t scare off many kids — or, in this case, one kinda kinky grown-up on the Brooklyn Bridge. They were out celebrating in boo-tiful costumes.
“The storms are not going to stop our Halloween party,’’ said Amy Scott, of the West 87th Street Park and Garden, a community oasis decorated yesterday with goblins and balloons.
Nisha Borrelli, 7, who came to the garden on 87th at Columbus Avenue as a spider queen, said, “I love this garden. It’s kid-scary.’’
But the aftermath of the treacherous storm did force official postponement of the hugely popular Village Halloween Parade until next week.
