Legalize it!

Most New York voters are high on making pot legal, a poll found.

But they face more than just tokin’ opposition, as just 51 percent supports legalization while 44 percent oppose it, Quinnipiac University found the first time it polled New Yorkers on the issue.

The results, released yesterday, match a national Quinnipiac poll from last week and comes as Gov. Cuomo pushes for decriminalization of 25 grams or less during NYPD stop-and-frisks. Younger voters, men, Democrats and independents were highest on legalization, while Republicans opposed it by nearly 2 to 1.
