Eight people were shot – one fatally – in six separate incidents of gunfire across the city overnight and early Monday, authorities said. 

The fatal victim was a 24-year-old woman blasted in the right arm by a male suspect at 109th Avenue and 120th Street in South Ozone Park, Queens, just before 9:30 a.m. Monday, cops said. 

She was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries, police said. Her name has not been released pending family notification. 

A person of interest was taken into custody, cops said. 

The motive for the shooting is under investigation, and authorities could not immediately confirm whether the woman and the gunman were known to each other. 

The rest of the shootings occurred over a violent three-hour span late Sunday through early Monday. 

The first bullets flew around 9:45 p.m. outside the Queensbridge Houses at 40-07 10th St. in Long Island City, Queens. At least one gunman riding a bicycle approached the 26-year-old male victim and opened fire, cops said.

The victim was shot and rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he remained in critical condition Monday morning, authorities said. 

Less than an hour later, at 10:30 p.m., in Coney Island, Brooklyn, two men were fighting outside 2930 W. 30th St. when one pulled out a gun and shot the other. The 37-year-old victim was shot in the leg and taken to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition, according to police.

An hour later in Queens, two men were hit by gunfire outside Far Rockaway’s Redfern Houses, at 14-75 Beach Channel Drive. A 32-year-old man was shot in each leg, and a 26-year-old man was shot in the chest. Both are in stable condition at Jamaica Medical Center, the NYPD said.

A second double shooting in Flatbush, Brooklyn, nearly one hour later at around 12:25 a.m. injured two men. A 41-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 29-year-old was struck in the leg and torso at 65 E. 19th St.

Both were brought to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. Police said neither victim has been cooperating with the investigation.

Around 12:40 a.m. Monday, a teen was shot in the stomach outside the Unity Plaza Houses at 611 Blake Ave. in East New York, Brooklyn, cops said. 

The 19-year-old victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.  

Police describe him as uncooperative with the investigation.
