THE BRONX
A gunman opened fire on a man standing on a Longwood street early yesterday, police sources said.
The 26-year-old victim, whose name was not released, was shot on Rogers Place near East 162nd Street at 3:45 a.m., the sources said.
He was hit in the torso, the forearm and the groin, authorities said.
He was able to make it on his own to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he’s listed in stable condition.
A semiautomatic handgun was found at the scene, but it was not clear yesterday if that was the weapon used in the crime.
MANHATTAN
A knife-wielding bandit robbed a man on the roof of a Washington Heights building early yesterday, police sources said.
The thief approached the 33-year-old victim on Amsterdam Avenue near West 158th Street at 2:45 a.m. and threatened to stab him, authorities said.
The thug coerced the man to walk to West 150th Street, where he forced him to the roof, police sources said. There, he stole the victim’s cellphone and $19 before fleeing.
The assailant is described as a 5-foot-5, Hispanic man in his 20s, weighing about 140 pounds.
Cops are investigating the gunpoint mugging of a teenager in Kips Bay, police sources said yesterday.
The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was confronted by two young assailants after he walked out of a deli on Park Avenue South near East 24th Street at 12:55 p.m. Friday, sources said.
The crooks, who were also about 16, flashed a silver handgun. One youth swiped two of the teen’s chains and his accomplice stole two bracelets. They were last seen running south on Park Avenue South, authorities said.
QUEENS
Two teens were charged with stabbing a man in Sunnyside, police sources said yesterday.
Amer Khan, 17, of Sunnyside, and Christian Diaz, 16, of Long Island City, were arrested shortly after the bloodshed at 44th Street and 53rd Avenue, at 9:29 p.m. Friday, sources said.
Cops responding to a call of a man stabbed found the 25-year-old victim suffering from several lacerations. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
Khan and Diaz were nabbed and charged with assault after a quick canvass of the area.
Detectives were called to an Astoria hospital to interview a man who walked in with a gunshot wound, police sources said.
Staffers at Mount Sinai Hospital phoned cops after a 23-year-old man walked in with a bullet wound in his left calf at 11 p.m. Friday, the sources said.
The man told cops he was injured on 24th Street near 34th Avenue, but did not provide any further information or a description of the gunman.
A Jamaica woman has been nabbed and charged with using other people’s identities and credit cards to buy cars, authorities said yesterday.
Liza Zannatol, 19, helped her friend buy vehicles from car dealers in Woodhaven and Ozone Park last year, authorities said.
During the first illegal purchase at Christopher Motors on Atlantic Avenue in Woodhaven on July 24, Zannatol’s friend bought a $5,350 2000 Infiniti for her and paid with a Nevada man’s credit card and driver’s license, authorities said.
Two days later, Zannatol used the same credit card to pay $2,919 to the Esurance insurance company, the sources said.
On Oct. 30, Zannatol, along with her brother and the friend, picked up a 2000 Mercedes from COBA Auto Sales for $12,105, authorities said. That time, they used an Arizona resident’s credit card number and a phony driver’s license, the sources said.
Zannatol is charged with scheming to defraud, conspiracy, criminal facilitation, two counts of grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and identity theft, according to a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
The friend, Mustafa Chowdhury, was arrested Nov. 7, along with her brother, Mohammed Ali Bappi.
A car struck and killed a woman on a Bay Ridge street last night, police said.
Lianl Seng, 47, of 68th Street, was crossing Sixth Avenue just after 9 p.m. when she was struck by a gray Nissan that was making a right from Senator Street.
Seng was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where she died. The driver was not issued a summons.
