An off-duty NYPD cop was busted this week for allegedly choking his wife during an argument in their Brooklyn home, authorities said.

Officer Michael Garrison was cuffed around 4:15 p.m. Thursday after a dispute between the couple turned violent, cops said.

He allegedly choked the woman and refused to let her leave the apartment, in the 68th Precinct, which covers Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights, cops said.

He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and unlawful imprisonment, cops said.

Police did not provide any additional information Friday morning.
