NEWARK, N.J. — A New York City police officer who authorities say helped carry out a $1 million perfume heist is due in a New Jersey courtroom Tuesday.

Richard LeBlanca is charged in the Feb. 9 armed robbery at In Style USA Inc. in Carlstadt, which supplies high-end perfumes to Manhattan retailers.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office lists LeBlanca’s court appearance as a plea agreement hearing.

LeBlanca is charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

LeBlanca, who is suspended without pay from the NYPD, was one of two officers charged in the heist, which allegedly involved 8 people.

Officer Brian Checo in March pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
