A Manhattan cop distraught over relationship problems fatally shot herself in the head, police sources said Sunday.

Amy Fantauzzi, who worked at the 23rd Precinct in East Harlem, was found dead by her fellow-cop girlfriend early Sunday in the living room of their home in Throggs Neck in The Bronx, the sources said.

The girlfriend had just returned home from work, they said. Fantauzzi, 39, left behind a note that mentioned problems with the relationship, the sources said.

She was at least the second city officer to kill herself this year.

NYPD Detective Paul Federico, 53, was found hanging in his mother’s Queens home in Middle Village in mid-February.

The NYPD did not respond to a request for comment.
