Cop-killer Alexander Bonds suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and was acting “irrational and erratic” while off his meds in the hours before gunning down NYPD Officer Miosotis Familia, his girlfriend told investigators Wednesday.

Bonds’ girlfriend claimed that she called 911 three times to report Bonds was unhinged as they walked around the Bronx on Tuesday night, law enforcement sources said.

But cops couldn’t find the couple when they responded to at least one of the calls, sources said.

“Every time he saw a cop car go down the block he would go and hide,” she told cops.

The unidentified woman also claimed that she tried to get Bonds committed to St. Barnabas Hospital on Saturday, but that he calmed down in the emergency room and got discharged without treatment, sources said.

The NYPD has yet to verify her claims regarding Bonds’ mental state.

Bonds used a stolen .38-caliber revolver to fatally shoot Familia in the back of the head while she sat in the back of an NYPD truck in the Bronx around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Two cops who heard the shot while on patrol nearby blew Bonds away when they spotted him trying to run away and he pointed the gun at them, police said.
