This cop may need a refresher course on riding a scooter if he’s ever going to chase down criminals on it.

A video making the rounds on social media Sunday captures an unknown NYPD officer in Midtown East struggle to get a police scooter moving before completely losing control.

The officer inadvertently guns it and slams into a cop car just a few feet away. Pieces of glass and plastic fly off the scooter, but it appears the officer is OK.

The NYPD said it “is aware of the incident and it is currently under internal review,” but did not release any more details.
