Call them Super Cops.

A group of NYPD officers were superheroes Saturday, thrilling the kids at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children by showing up in comic book hero garb — and even rappelling down the side of the building.

Making the day super for dozens of kids at the Bayside pediatric hospital were Batman, Captain American, Captain Marvel and Spiderman — all members of the police departments Emergency Services Unit during their day jobs.

The event was co-hosted by “With Arms Wide Open,” a charity founded by NYPD Officer Merritt Riley in 2016 to serve children and families who are battling complex, long-term medical issues.

Riley’s teenage son, Aidan, has cerebral palsy and has received at-home care from St. Mary’s staff over the years.
