Two NYPD officers were injured on Wednesday when a car they stopped sped off and struck them in Queens, sources said.
The cops had pulled over the vehicle at 178th Street and 112th Avenue in Jamaica at about 4:30 p.m. when the suspect peeled off and injured the officers, according to law enforcement sources.
The cops were taken to the hospital. One of them may have suffered a broken leg in the crash, the sources said.
The driver of the vehicle was apprehended shortly after the incident.
