Police Commissioner Bill Bratton will join Mayor de Blasio on Monday to announce that cops are getting more tactical equipment, including helmets and bulletproof vests.

Officers have been complaining for months that they are not adequately prepared to handle violent acts of bloodshed, such as the ones seen in Paris, Orlando and Dallas in recent months, but it is unclear if the upgrade is a direct result of their concerns.

The PBA recently filed a complaint with the state’s Labor Department, claiming NYPD brass were providing an unsafe workplace by depriving cops of the equipment needed to protect themselves.
