As the suspect dragged her back down the stairs, a booth clerk pressed an emergency button, alerting police.

The suspect then allegedly raped the woman on the platform and fled before cops arrived.

The thug was described as a light-skinned black man in his 20s, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with a mustache, brown eyes and short brown hair.

The accomplice then grabbed phones from shelf cases and put them in a bag, sources said.

Bubb then allegedly tossed some more cellphones to the accomplice, emptied out a box of phone cards and took cash from a register.

The suspects fled with about $6,000 in cash and property.

After Bubb was ID’d in a photo array, he was arrested on Tuesday.

THE BRONX

* A Soundview man who fell into a coma after being punched by another man in May has died from his injuries, authorities said yesterday.

Angel Perez, 44, was taken off a respirator at a Bronx hospital about 4 p.m. Monday.

According to authorities, Perez argued with Ramon Vargas, 33, at Elder Avenue near Watson Avenue on May 19.

The dispute turned violent and Vargas allegedly slugged Perez in the face, knocking him down.

Perez suffered brain injuries as his head hit the sidewalk. Vargas was arrested on May 26.

The Bronx District Attorney’s Office said it would not upgrade charges because investigators cannot prove Perez intended to kill Vargas.

It was unclear what the men were arguing about.
