*** Breaking up is hard to do, especially if you’re trying to break up with 26-year-old Julia Sealy.

Sealy was arrested on Sunday and charged with assault and criminal mischief after allegedly beating her 53-year-old boyfriend with a phone handset in his 11th Street apartment near Eighth Avenue on Aug. 30.

Sealy then allegedly grabbed a bedpost and repeatedly bashed the man in the face, back and arms.

Sealy then allegedly smashed a countertop, a sliding glass door, a wooden door, window frames and a stereo.

The victim suffered bruises and scratches, but did not need hospitalization.

*** A supermarket worker was arrested for slashing a delivery-truck driver in Borough Park, authorities said yesterday.

Sources said Fernando Martinez, 32, argued with a 21-year-old ice-cream deliveryman over where the deliveryman was discarding empty boxes in the supermarket, at 1891 50th St., at 10:15 a.m. Monday.

Martinez allegedly slugged the deliveryman in the stomach then slashed him on the face and ear with a boxcutter.

He then allegedly chased the deliveryman and threatened to kill him.

The victim was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he received stitches.

Martinez was arrested the same day and charged with assault, menacing and weapons possession.

*** A man was arrested at the West Indian Day Parade after attacking a police officer and struggling with other cops, authorities said yesterday.

Sources said Aaron Sorochi, 24, tried to climb over gates that police officers were moving to prevent paradegoers from crossing the street at Eastern Parkway and Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights at 6 p.m. Monday, sources said.

Sorochi refused to obey cops’ command to halt, the sources said.

As police attempted to cuff him, Sorochi allegedly smashed a glass bottle on a cop’s head and struggled to break free.

Police were finally able to cuff Sorochi, who was charged with assault and resisting arrest.

The injured cop was released from Kings County Hospital after treatment for forehead cuts.

QUEENS

*** A man has been arrested for stabbing a patron in a Rockaway Park bar, authorities said yesterday.

The suspect, Michael Vola, 20, argued with a 20-year-old man drinking at the bar in Palm Garden, at 114-24 Rockaway Beach Blvd., about 10:15 p.m. Sunday, sources said.

It was unclear what spurred the argument, but Vola allegedly pulled a large knife and stabbed the man in the stomach.

The victim underwent surgery for intestinal damage.

As cops arrested Vola, they found in his pants pocket a crack pipe containing crack cocaine residue, sources said.

Vola was charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to a spokesperson for Queens DA Richard Brown.

*** Police yesterday were investigating the mysterious circumstances behind the gunshot slaying of a man in Corona.

The body of Jabari McKayle, 28, was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head behind the building at 98-17 Horace Harding Expressway at 3:11 p.m. Monday, cops said.

McKayle, of Queens, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died.

STATEN ISLAND

*** A teenager was shot dead yesterday in Dongan Hills, and police believe the attack may have been gang-related.

Joseph Lopez, 18, was shot in front of 239 Jefferson St. at 1:15 a.m., when suspects opened fire from inside a vehicle and sped away, sources said.

Lopez was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital, where he died.

THE BRONX

*** A corpse was found on a park bench in East Tremont, police said yesterday.

The body of the 51-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, was discovered in Borough Hall Park at Arthur Avenue and East Tremont Avenue about 3:20 p.m. Monday.

Police recovered a syringe at the scene.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
