THE BRONX
*** Police are looking for Rafael Nuñez (above), who allegedly nearly beat his ex-girlfriend to death in her Belmont apartment Thursday.
Nuñez, 31, brutally attacked Lillian Reyes, 25, at 2509 Hoffman St. at 12:50 p.m., cops said.
According to authorities, Nuñez pummeled the mother of his 3-year-old child as she was taking a break from her job at a bank.
Reyes was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was in critical condition last night.
The 5-foot-8, 200-pound Nuñez has black hair and brown eyes and drives a black four-door Chevy Cavalier with license-plate number DHG3184.
MANHATTAN
*** An NYPD Harbor Unit reported pulling a man’s body from the waters off Pier 4 in Battery Park at 9 a.m. yesterday.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Maurice Boykin, 32, of Brooklyn. There were no signs of trauma to Boykin’s body.
*** A 30-year-old man was stabbed yesterday during a fight with his landlord and her son, police sources said.
The brouhaha began at 9 a.m. inside the unidentified victim’s apartment at 655 W. 177th St.
That’s where Daniel Santos, 33, allegedly knifed the man as they tussled on the floor and his mother tried to break up the fight.
After the stabbing, Santos fled to 260 Audubon Ave., where cops said they found him hiding on the 11th floor.
Santos, who also lives in the West 177th Street building, then allegedly fought with responding officers, injuring two.
He is charged with assault, weapons possession, resisting arrest, menacing and trespassing.
Santos, his mother and her tenant were all in stable condition at Colum- bia Presbyterian Hospital last night.
*** Two unidentified people were wounded on a Harlem street Thursday night, police said yesterday.
The 23-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were shot while standing in front of 60 W. 135th St. at 9 p.m.
The man took multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen, and the woman was struck in the left calf, authorities said.
Both were taken to Harlem Hospital, where the man was in serious condition and the woman in stable condition last night.
QUEENS
*** A 44-year-old man was found severely beaten on a Richmond Hill street corner early yesterday, police said.
The man, whose name was not released, was with two others when cops found them at the intersection of 95th Avenue and 112th Street at 3:05 a.m., authorities said.
Investigators said they believed the assault victim had been in a brawl with three other men who had fled in a car.
He was in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital last night.
STATEN ISLAND
*** A man who mowed down three city transit workers in Castleton Corners on Thursday – critically injuring one – turned himself in yesterday afternoon, authorities said.
Vincent Ventafredda, a 25-year-old electrician, surrendered to the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office with his attorney at 2 p.m.
Ventafredda said he accidentally drove his 1999 Ford Explorer Sport Track into the three DOT highway repairmen as they readied Slosson Avenue for resurfacing at 1:55 a.m. Thursday, law-enforcement sources said.
The workers were taken to Staten Island University Hospital, where one, Nick Antico, 35, was in critical condition last night.
Louis Ciccotti, 36, was treated at the hospital for a shoulder injury and Michael Moschella, 42, for undisclosed injuries, and both were released.
Ventafredda is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, a felony.
