QUEENS

* A man was arrested for slashing his daughter in the face in their Jamaica home, authorities said yesterday.

Hamid Aziz, 55, exchanged words with his 31-year-old daughter in their 93rd Avenue home near 170th Street at 6 p.m. Monday, sources said.

He then allegedly pulled a knife and cut his daughter. Her wounds were not life-threatening.

Aziz was busted that day and charged with assault, weapons possession and harassment, according to a spokeswoman for Queens DA Richard Brown.

* Police yesterday were investigating the fatal shooting of a man on a Jamaica street, cops said.

Jeffrey Bellamy, 40, was shot at the corner of 109th Avenue and Guy Brewer Boulevard about 9:30 p.m. Monday, when an unknown gunman opened fire for unknown reasons.

Bellamy was rushed to Mary Immaculate Hospital, where he died early yesterday.

BROOKLYN

* A student was arrested for beating a teacher in an East New York high school, authorities said yesterday.

Sources said Laronda Montgomery, 17, walked into a classroom as the 24-year-old male victim was teaching a class at Thomas Jefferson HS on Pennsylvania Avenue at 1:45 p.m. Monday.

Montgomery, who is not the teacher’s student, headed toward her locker in back of the class, but was thwarted by the teacher, cops said.

In response, Montgomery allegedly hit the teacher in the neck, chest and stomach.

Police arrested Montgomery, who was charged with assault, menacing and harassment.

The teacher was released from Brooklyn Hospital after treatment for a strained neck muscle in his neck.

* A Bedford-Stuyvesant man was arrested for beating and biting his girlfriend and then assaulting her with a vacuum cleaner, authorities said yesterday.

The incident began at 3 p.m. on Oct. 15, when Lisandro Harper, 29, argued over a cellphone with his 27-year-old girlfriend in Harper’s Monroe Street home near Nostrand Avenue, sources said.

Harper allegedly bit the woman and struggled with her on the ground.

The victim bit Harper to get him off her, and the two got to their feet.

Harper then pushed her into a coffee table, and after further shoving, he tossed a vacuum cleaner at the woman, hitting her above the left eye.

As the victim fled, Harper hurled a surge protector power strip at the woman, strikng her in the head.

The victim reported the incident to police, who arrested Harper Monday on charges of assault and menacing.

MANHATTAN

* A Chinese-food deliveryman was knocked off his bicycle after a tour bus squeezing through a busy Chinatown intersection struck him yesterday, cops said.

Police said the 50-year-old man, who was not identified, was riding his bike on Division Street near the intersection of Catherine Street at 10:45 a.m. when he was struck by the bus.

The deliveryman suffered a minor leg injury and was treated and released from Beth Israel Hospital, police said.

The driver of the bus stayed by the accident scene and wasn’t immediately charged with any traffic violations.

* Elevators at a Midtown building were targeted by vandals last week in what police have deemed an apparent bias incident, cops said yesterday.

Between 10:50 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Friday, an unidentified person used a black magic marker to scrawl “stop the war” and “Israel” in two elevators at the building at West 33rd Street near 10th Avenue, cops said.

It was unclear who discovered the vandalism, but it was reported to police that day.

THE BRONX

* A gun-wielding bandit robbed a parking-lot attendant of her cellphone at the Bronx Zoo, police said yesterday.

The suspect, described as a man in his 30s, confronted the woman in her booth at the zoo on Southern Boulevard near East 182nd Street about 2:20 p.m. Monday, cops said.

After he pulled a gun and demanded cash, the attendant ran away, leaving her cellphone behind.

The thief grabbed the phone and fled.

STATEN ISLAND

* An unruly student was arrested after he struggled with police in a Castleton Corners high school, police sources said yesterday.

Robert Johnson, 16, was in a hallway when he refused to follow instructions from administrators and school safety agents to go to class at Susan E. Wagner HS on Manor Road about 11:40 a.m. Monday, cops said.

After he was ordered to the dean’s office, Johnson allegedly yelled and flailed his arms.

Cops said a large crowd had gathered and his behavior put them in danger.

He was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

* A DWI driver was arrested on drug charges early yesterday after police stopped him and found cocaine at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, cops said.

Earle Haight, 39, drove over the bridge from Brooklyn about 3:30 a.m. when he was stopped by police at the Staten Island toll plaza. It was not clear why he was pulled over.

Police noticed Haight had a flushed, ruddy complexion and gave him a Breathalyzer test, which showed he was impaired by alcohol, cops said.

Police also found two glassine envelopes of cocaine in Haight’s vehicle, cops said.

In addition, police ran a computer check and learned Haight’s driver’s license had been suspended.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
