*** Police are looking for a man who has robbed four banks in a week – two of them were on the same day – in Fordham, police said.
The thief started by passing a note to a teller at a Chase branch at 5581 Broadway Tuesday and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
He then used the same scheme at a Washington Mutual branch at East Fordham Road the following day.
He struck two more branches Thursday.
First he hit a Citibank at Creston Avenue, but ran empty-handed after the teller walked away from the window.
Within 15 minutes, he found another Chase branch, some 10 blocks away, approached a teller with a note and ran out with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are searching for a 25-year-old man with a stocky build.
He was last seen wearing a baseball-style jersey with dark sleeves and the letters “OMAVI” across the front.
*** Two teens were injured in a drive-by shooting in Claremont, police sources said yesterday.
The victims, a 19-year-old and an 18-year-old not otherwise identified, were walking eastbound on Clay Avenue near East 168th Street when a group of unknown assailants in an SUV pulled up alongside and opened fire at 11:55 p.m. Thursday.
The 19-year-old suffered a gunshot wound in his right foot. The 18-year-old – whom police sources described as a “known Bloods gang member” – was struck in the right thigh.
*** A man was shot during a dice game on a Mott Haven street, police sources said.
The 27-year-old victim, whose name was not released, was shooting craps on Oak Terrace near Crimmins Avenue at 11 p.m. Thursday, the sources said.
A man approached him and shot him several times, authorities said.
The victim was listed in stable condition at Lincoln Hospital last night.
STATEN ISLAND
*** A teen was nabbed for drug possession in Great Kills, authorities said yesterday.
Jimpat Lacewell, 19, was arrested at the corner of Whitman and Mansion avenues at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, law-enforcement sources said.
The car he was driving, a 1993 Mercury Marquis, was allegedly stolen, police said.
Cops also found 12 small bags of crack inside a cigarette box that Lacewell had thrown on the ground, authorities said.
A search of the car yielded 19 more bags of crack, found on the floor near the back seat, authorities said.
A 15-year-old boy who was with Lacewell was also arrested.
*** A New Brighton woman was busted when cops raided her home and found bags of crack, law-enforcement sources said yesterday.
Treana Knight, 33, was arrested inside her Benziger Avenue residence near Bismark Avenue at 6 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.
Detectives discovered three Ziplok bags of crack underneath Knight’s mattress and two straws with crack residue on her dresser, police sources said.
*** A man beat up his son’s mother in Bulls Head and threatened to kill her if she pressed charges, authorities said yesterday.
Jason Reilly, 24, allegedly attacked the unidentified woman outside her home on Christopher Lane near Richmond Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, law-enforcement sources said.
Authorities allege that Reilly grabbed his 5-month- old son out of the woman’s arms, pushed her against a wall, punched her in the face, kicked her and grabbed her arms.
He was arrested at the scene and taken to the 122nd Precinct station house, where he called the woman in front of the cops and threatened to kill her if she did not drop the charges, law-enforcement sources said.
