*** Cops say this man (above) held up a bank on the Upper East Side yesterday. The thief walked into a Chase Bank Branch at Lexington Avenue and E. 70th Street, demanded money from a teller, then fled with an unspecified amount out cash.
*** Police yesterday were searching for a teen girl who disappeared from a shelter in June.
Heroilda Chiclana (above), 13, was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue sweatpants and white socks at 1 p.m. on June 18 at the 1st Avenue building near East 29th Street, cops said. Police described her as Hispanic, 5-foot-6, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
BROOKLYN
*** Cops yesterday charged a 20-year-old suspect with murdering a livery driver during a botched robbery in Bedford Stuyvesant.
Rico Roberts, 20, and an accomplice, allegedly killed Bangladeshi immigrant Mohammed Bhuiyan, 36, after they accosted him as he waited for a bus home at Utica Avenue and Fulton Street when his shifted ended at 2 a.m. Tuesday.
The two fled empty-handed. Cops were still searching for Roberts’ alleged accomplice.
*** A suspected triggerman was arrested in the fatal shooting of a man in Crown Heights, police said yesterday.
Joseph Chambers, 25, confronted Kevin Faryind, 24, on Franklin Avenue near Park Place at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 13, cops said.
Then Chambers allegedly pushed Faryind against a tree, shoved a handgun in his face and opened fire. The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he died.
Chambers fled the scene, but investigators nabbed him Tuesday.
It was unclear what sparked the attack or what, if any, relationship the two men had.
*** A Long Island man was arrested for shooting his sister’s boyfriend on an East Flatbush street, authorities said yesterday.
Barrington Smith, of Uniondale, L.I., was busted Tuesday.
The incident occurred at 12:10 p.m. that day, when the 38-year-old victim argued with his girlfriend, Smith’s sister, on East 37th Street near Church Avenue, sources say.
Authorities said the dispute erupted over a cellphone and money.
The victim walked away and headed toward a bodega, where he was confronted by Smith, angry about the victim’s treatment of his sister.
Smith pulled a handgun and shot the victim in the ankle, shattering his femur bone. The wounded man was rushed to Kings County Hospital.
*** A man was arrested for slashing an auxiliary cop across the face in a Sunset Park bodega, authorities said yesterday.
The incident occurred at 5:50 p.m. on May 11, when the off-duty auxiliary officer saw Eldorado Johnson, 24, removing a bag of unspecified drugs from his pants in the Te-amo store at Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, sources said.
The auxiliary cop, 38, allegedly told Johnson not to conduct business in the store, and Johnson allegedly spit in his face.
Johnson then allegedly pulled a razor blade and slashed him from his ear to his chin.
The injured man was rushed to Lutheran Hospital, where he received multiple stitches.
Johnson fled, but was tracked down by detectives Tuesday.
QUEENS
*** A Jamaica man will spend his 28th birthday behind bars today after fatally shooting an acquaintance, authorities said yesterday.
Luke Dawkins surrendered to police Tuesday, according to a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown.
At about 5 a.m. that day, Dawkins argued with Anton Green over a girl in Green’s 88th Avenue apartment near 168th Place, sources said.
Dawkins allegedly pulled a semiautomatic and shot Green, 25, twice in the head.
STATEN ISLAND
*** A burglar stole food after breaking into a Mariner’s Harbor apartment, authorities said yesterday.
Sources said Joy Sanchez, 31, shattered a second-floor window of the Bush Avenue building near Richmond terrace and climbed inside.
A tenant on the first floor heard a loud crash and called cops.
When police arrived, they saw Sanchez carrying food out of the building and arrested her.
*** Narcotics cops busted two people with heroin and nearly $2,500 in cash yesterday after executing a warrant at a Fox Hills apartment, authorities said.
At about 6 a.m., detectives entered the Park Hill Avenue apartment near Palma Drive where Sulaiman Tunis, 42, lives and Denise Hamlin, 37, was staying, sources said.
The officers allegedly found seven glassine envelopes of heroin on a desk in the foyer and one plastic bag of heroin in the hall closet.
Police also recovered a spoon covered in a white powdery substance, a digital scale and $2,410 in cash.
*** A man was busted on drug charges after selling marijuana to an undercover cop in a Stapleton apartment building, authorities said yesterday.
Pedro Martinez, 61, handed four plastic bags of pot to the undercover officer in exchange for money in the Targee Street building near Broad Street at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, sources said.
The undercover cop signaled for backup, and other officers swooped in to grab Martinez.
Investigators also recovered a bag from Martinez’s bedroom closet.
