Three men fatally shot a teenager after pistol-whipping a woman in Brownsville, police said yesterday. At 8:45 p.m. Thursday, the assailants forced their way into an apartment at 61 E. 95th St. and assaulted Tracy Wicks, 29, cops said. A 36-year-old man acquainted with Wicks stumbled upon the assailants and scared them off. As the three men were fleeing, one of them shot Patrick Meloney, 18, in the chest. Meloney was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he died. Wicks was released after treatment at the same hospital. Police are investigating whether the shooting is connected with the Wicks case.

Two brothers were shot and seriously injured when two gunmen opened fire in their Bushwick barbershop, police said yesterday. Thursday night, the two assailants walked into PJs Splitt Ends at 379 Bushwick Ave. and announced a stickup while owner Kawane Buckner and his brother Perry Buckner, both 31, were working, cops said. The assailants allegedly pulled a gun and shot Kawane in the head and Perry in the chest before fleeing. Both victims were taken to Elmhurst General Hospital in serious condition.

Police yesterday upgraded assault charges against an elderly man who allegedly murdered his girlfriend after striking her in the face. Wednesday, John Zanas got into an argument with girlfriend Patricia Paterson, 44, in his apartment at 2837 W. 37th St. in Coney Island, cops said. Zanas allegedly smashed Paterson in the face with a drinking goblet, fracturing her jaw and causing substantial blood loss. He then called cops, who found Paterson unconscious. She was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where she died of blunt trauma injuries. Police arrested Zanas after further investigation.

Manhattan

Three teenagers were busted for robbing and slightly injuring a 17-year-old in Central Park, police said yesterday. Thursday, the three 14-year-old boys accosted the young man around 4 p.m. while he was walking near West 70th Street and West Drive. The victim suffered a cut to his finger and lip as the assailants snatched cash from him and fled. The suspects were subsequently arrested on robbery charges, their names withheld due to their ages.

Bronx

A man was arrested yesterday in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old last month in a Claremont apartment building, police said. Maurice Clark, 31, was charged with the March 30 murder of Kamin Freeman, whom he allegedly shot in the head during an argument in the vestibule of 1304 Findlay St. Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Queens

Two men were injured – one critically – after they stabbed each other during a dispute in an Astoria apartment building, police said yesterday. Thursday night, cops responded to an assault call at 25-02 Steinway St. They discovered Jorge Marin, 35, and Hugo Corrales, 48, both stabbed in the torso, cops said. Corrales was listed in critical, but stable condition at Elmhurst General Hospital. Marin was in stable condition at the same hospital. Both men were also arrested, with Marin charged with attempted murder and Corrales with assault.

Several men spewed anti-black remarks at two teenagers and bashed one of them in the face on a Flushing street, cops said yesterday. March 28, the assailants accosted two boys, ages 14 and 15, in front of 154-60 17th Ave. around 3:30 p.m. One of them punched the 14-year-old in his face, breaking his nose. The assailants fled. The victim was treated and later released at New York Hospital of Queens. He reported the incident Thursday to police.

A 15-year-old student was arrested yesterday after he was caught with a loaded .380 caliber gun in a New Brighton school, police said. The boy was observed with the gun around 10 a.m. by another student, who notified a safety officer at Curtis HS, cops said. The suspect, whose name was not released due to his age, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
