* A man was shot by a carjacker who left him for dead on a Bedford Stuyvesant street yesterday, police sources said.

The 44-year-old victim was shot in the back on Halsey Street by a thug who jumped into the backseat of his Nissan, pulled out a gun and yelled, “Give me all your money!”

The victim refused and the gunman opened fire, then tossed the driver out and sped off in the car.

* Police say James McDonald, 43, (pictured) is suspected of robbing four banks in the borough in the past year.

The most recent robbery took place at a North Fork Bank branch on 13th Avenue in Borough Park on Jan. 21, when he passed a note to a teller and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

* A man has been charged with sexually harassing two women in his Brownsville building, cops said yesterday.

Michael Walker, 46, invited a 39-year-old neighbor into his apartment Jan. 2 to talk about a tenant association meeting, then attacked her, police said.

Three weeks later, Walker allegedly told another woman that she could make money by prostituting herself, then attempted to molest her, cops said.

The women filed separate complaints and cops arrested Walker on Sunday on charges of forcible touching, harassment, criminal sexual act and unlawful imprisonment.

* A thug who stole a computer from a Williamsburg office attacked a member of a volunteer security patrol with a screwdriver, authorities said yesterday.

Daniel Ayala, 33, broke into the Derblatt Newspaper office on Rutledge Street near Wythe Avenue at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, the sources said.

The Shomrim patrol volunteer confronted Ayala as he was walking outside with the computer.

Ayala allegedly pulled a screwdriver and slashed the volunteer on his back. Other Shomrim members surrounded Ayala and called cops.

A spokesman for District Attorney Charles Hynes said Ayala was charged with assault and burglary.

* Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a Sheepshead Bay man who has been missing for more than two months.

James Blaustein (pictured), 43, who suffers from schizophrenia, was last seen Nov. 5 at his East 29th Street home, police said.

* A Bedford-Stuyvesant woman slashed a man with a knife after snatching his wallet, authorities said yesterday.

Angela Reese, 45, asked the victim, a 34-year-old stranger, if she could use the bathroom in the home he was renovating on Tompkins Avenue at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, the sources said.

When Reese left, the victim realized his wallet, containing $70, was missing. When he dashed outside to confront her, Reese slashed him on the hand, cops said.

A cop saw the attack and arrested Reese, who was charged with assault and robbery.

* An off-duty police sergeant was arrested yesterday in Brooklyn for a domestic-violence incident, authorities said.

Joseph Kissoon, who is assigned to a Manhattan court, was busted shortly before 4 a.m. and charged with assault, cops said.

The Bronx

* A one-month-old baby was found dead in his East Tremont apartment yesterday, authorities said.

Christian Nunez was unconscious in his Arthur Avenue home and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. There were no signs of violence on the baby.

* A Morrisania man was charged with murder after he stabbed his neighbor, authorities said yesterday.

Lee Ruffin, 29, knifed the 53-year-old man, whose name was withheld pending family notification, several times in the torso in their Webster Avenue building early Sunday, police said.

Manhattan

* A poor box was stolen from a Greenwich Village church yesterday, but it was probably empty, church officials said.

A maintenance worker at Grace Church, on Broadway near 10th Street, noticed the hundred-pound wood and concrete box was missing at 2 p.m. and notified church officials, who called police.

* Police arrested a man who was driving with a suspended license and a loaded gun in Chelsea, investigators said yesterday.

Willard Hendrickson, 36, was pulled over Saturday morning for a traffic violation at West 24th Street and Sixth Avenue.

Cops searched his Chevy Tahoe and found a loaded .38-caliber Derringer wrapped in a towel between the center console and the front passenger seat, authorities said.

Hendrickson also had an electronic stun gun tucked in his belt, police said.

Hendrickson, of Brooklyn, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

* A man was arrested after stealing three watches from a downtown department store, police said yesterday.

Lee Richard, 28, of Brooklyn, swiped the watches from Century 21 Sunday morning, cops said.

He then ran out of the store, setting off a security alarm and a guard chased and caught him, cops said.

Richard allegedly punched that guard in the face and swung at a second guard during the struggle.

Richard was charged with assault and petit larceny.

Staten Island

* Cops caught up with a man being sought for violating an order of protection taken out by his girlfriend – and busted him for DWI after he tested four times over the legal limit in Oakwood Heights, investigators said.

Cops found Richard Alaimo in his Cadillac in a lot on Guyon Avenue on Sunday night with two beer cans in the back seat.
