Police yesterday released a sketch (below) of a man they say raped and sodomized a woman at gunpoint in Hollis. On Monday, according to police, the man in his 20s accosted the 58-year-old woman at 193rd Street and Jamaica Avenue around 5 a.m. He pulled a gun and forced her into an alley, where he sexually assaulted her and fled. A gun was recovered at the scene. The suspect was described as 5-foot, in his mid-20s, with a stocky build and a missing front tooth. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a black jacket with a black hood.
Three men tied up and robbed a livery cabdriver at knifepoint yesterday in Astoria, police said. The 28-year-old driver was sitting in his cab on the corner of 31st Street and Astoria Boulevard at 6 a.m. when he was confronted by three men in their 20s brandishing knives. The assailants ordered the driver into the back of the cab, where he was tied up and robbed of $250. The thieves then drove to 31st Avenue and 98th Street, where they fled the cab, leaving the driver inside. No one was injured.
Manhattan
A man was critically wounded early yesterday when he was shot in the head on an East Harlem street corner, police said. Two men got into a dispute with Jerome Otho, 28, at Second Avenue and 106th Street around 2:30 a.m. One of the two men, whom police identified as in his 20s, pulled a gun and shot Otho behind the right ear. The assailants fled in a dark vehicle. The victim was taken to New York Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition.
Police yesterday identified the shooting victim of a possible drug-related dispute on a Morningside Heights street. At 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, three unidentified men got into the argument with Orion Forbes, 23, on West 121st Street and Manhattan Avenue, pulled a gun and shot him in the chest, cops said. The assailants fled. Police were called to the scene and discovered Forbes unconscious. He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he died early yesterday.

A teenager was stabbed to death and another injured Tuesday after getting into a dispute with a third teen in University Heights, police said. Cesar Tejada, 17, allegedly stabbed Richard Espinosa, 17, in the chest and slashed a 16-year-old boy in the face at 4:30 p.m. in an apartment building at 2397 Grand Ave. The dispute appears to have been about an incident last summer when one of the youths sprayed another with water from a fire hydrant, cops said. The victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where Espinosa died. The other injured youth was in stable condition. Police arrested Tejada on murder and assault charges.
Cops yesterday arrested a suspect in the fatal March 28 stabbing of a man in an apartment building in the Tremont section. During the incident, Juan Monzon, 25, allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed George Bonet, 32, in the chest on a stairwell inside 444 Cyrus Place at 9:30 a.m., cops said. Bonet was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died. Police apprehended Monzon on Tuesday and charged him with murder and manslaughter.
A man has been arrested for shooting a man three times on a Longwood street last month, police said. On Feb. 3, Martin Pedro, 21, brandished a gun and shot the man for unknown reasons in front of an apartment building at 920 E. 165 St. around 5:30 p.m. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition. Pedro was arrested Tuesday on attempted murder and weapons charges.
