The Bronx
* An off-duty court officer fired several rounds at a man who threatened his girlfriend with a gun in Soundview yesterday, police said.
The officer, who was not identified, was in a parked car with the 29-year-old woman and her son, 3, at Colgate Avenue at 6 p.m.
Her ex-boyfriend walked up to the car and threatened her with a gun – prompting the officer to fire his pistol, police said. It was not immediately known if the man fired back at the officer.
The man then took off in a black Lincoln Navigator and drove to Montefiore Hospital, where he was treated for a minor hand injury. Cops arrested him at the hospital, but did not immediatelyrelease his name.
Brooklyn
* Three men were stabbed during a brawl at a Chinese restaurant in Sunset Park last night, police said.
The victims, who were not identified, suffered minor injuries during the fight at the eatery at 53rd Street and Seventh Avenue at about 9 p.m..
Five men involved in the battle fled before cops arrived. The injured men were treated at Maimonidies Hospital.
Staten Island
* Two McKee HS students were arrested after the theft of money and a gift card from a cop’s wallet, authorities said yesterday.
The sources said Malek Brooks, 18, found the wallet on the street and took it to the school on St. Marks Place in St. George at 11 a.m. Friday. Brooks allegedly removed $20 and handed the wallet to his schoolmate, Tiffany Mercado, 17, who took two credit cards and a Best Buy electronics store gift card, the sources said.
Mercado then allegedly used the card to buy a Bluetooth cellphone headphone.
The cop learned from Best Buy officials that Mercado had used his gift card, and the officer tracked her down and arrested her. The investigation then led to the arrest of Brooks.
The two were charged with petit larceny, according to a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
* Two men were busted on drug and weapons charges yesterday after a cop confronted them on a Tompkinsville street.
Robert Nixon, 23, and Ricardo Morales, 47, were at Bay Street and Victory Boulevard at 1:30 a.m. when the patrolling officer approached, the sources said.
Nixon allegedly threw a bag of pot to the ground while Morales tossed two crack pipes. The officer also reported finding found a gravity knife in Nixon’s pocket.
Manhattan
* Cops are searching for Maghan Czerniawski, 15, who was last seen at her home last Wednesday morning.
Czerniawski, who has bright red hair, was last seen wearing a blue suede jacket, black pants and camouflage sneakers. She stands 5-foot-3 and weighs 220 pounds. Police did not say where she lived.
Police are searching for a man who held up an Upper West Side parking garage at Gunpoint.
The thief walked into the garage at Broadway near 97th Street Monday night, pulled a handgun and took off with $80 from a tip jar and $600 from the register.
Queens
* A South Jamaica woman was found dead on a building site yesterday.
The body of Charise Carter, 24, was found on the second floor of a house under construction at 110-19 Inwood Street, a block from where she lived, police said.
The victim, a home-care attendant, had bruises on her head and arms. But the cause of death was not immediately known.
* A Flushing man was arrested in a fatal stabbing, authorities said yesterday.
Cops busted Kendall Walker, 21, at his Colden Street home Monday and charged him with knifing Hung Zhang, 40, in the heart Feb. 18.
Zhang, a restaurant deliveryman, had been walking home from a Chinese New Year’s celebration. Police initially said the victim had been robbed and stabbed by three men.
But the investigation later indicated Zhang had not been robbed, but had been arguing with the knife-wielder.
Walker was charged with murder, according to DA Richard Brown.
* Three bandits claiming to be armed made off with merchandise yesterday from a Woodhaven Radio Shack, police said.
The thugs barged into the electronics store at Jamaica Avenue near Woodhaven Boulevard and confronted a 21-year-old worker at 9:50 a.m., cops said.
As one thief simulated having a firearm, another demanded cash from the employee as the third stood lookout.
The thieves got away withiPods, cellphones and car-navigation systems.
* A Flushing man was arrested for displaying a fake Homeland Security identification card after cops pulled him over for reckless driving, authorities said.
Nisim Abdiyev, 19, was swerving through traffic at Jamaica Avenue and 161st Street Monday, officials said.
When cops stopped him, Abdiyev offered two ID cards which he allegedly admitted buy for $20 each.
Abdiyev’s license was previously suspended and he has four open cases on charges including unlicensed driving and criminal possession of marijuana, the sources said.
He is now also charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, unauthorized use of a vehicle and reckless driving, the DA’s spokeswoman said.
* A Cambria Heights man was arrested after he was caught with a loaded gun, police said.
A witness spotted Reginald Banks, 38, place a revolver on a phone-booth shelf as he placed a call at Linden Boulevard and 217th Street early Monday, cops said. He was charged him with criminal possession of a weapon, the DA said.
* A Richmond Hill man was arrested for stealing his cousin’s identity and opening credit-card accounts in his name, authorities said yesterday.
Between Aug. 13 and Feb. 14, Shahabudee Khan, 28, allegedly opened two credit-card accounts and ran up balances of more than $3,000. His cousin got wind of the scam after he ran a credit check on himself.
The victim reported the scam to police, who nabbed Khan on Monday.
