As many as five robbers dressed as cops – at least one wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a gun – knocked on the door of an East New York home yesterday and pushed their way in.
The tied up a man, woman and young child with duct tape while they searched the house on Elderts Lane after demanding money and drugs.
The fled with $5,000 cash. No one was hurt.

Police released an image of a tattoo found on the shoulder of an unidentified woman whose body parts were found in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
They are investigating the remains of a middle-aged woman uncovered at Lexington Avenue and Marcus Garvey Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
The right arm of the victim bore a tattoo depicting an angel playing a trumpet.

A thug was arrested in connection with a brutal attack on an acquaintance behind an East Flatbush house, authorities said yesterday.
Raheem Henderson, 34, was busted Wednesday in the June 26 assault in the back yard of the East 39th Street residence near Glenwood Road, sources said.

Police grabbed a man who assaulted his girlfriend in Ditmas Park, authorities said yesterday.
Nathanie Ledyard, 47, allegedly slammed his gal pal to the ground on East 16th Street and Cortelyou Road at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim screamed for help and someone called 911.
Cops arrived, frisked Ledyard and found he possessed a marijuana cigarette and a small amount of cocaine.
MANHATTAN
A motorist was arrested for pummeling a bicylist after plowing into him in the West Village, authorities said yesterday.
Darian Peddie, 20, of The Bronx, was driving at Hudson and Bethune streets at 11:20 p.m. on May 25 when his vehicle struck the 36-year-old cyclist, knocking him to the ground, the DA’s Office said.
Peddie pulled over, punched the victim in the face and fled.
The victim was treated for injuries, including a broken leg, at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Police tracked down Peddie Sunday.
QUEENS
Cops are asking for the public’s help to find a Woodhaven woman missing for more than two weeks.
Reyna Reyes De Los Santos , 42, left her 88th Road home near 78th Street on June 20 after an argument with her husband, police said.

A man was stabbed to death in Corona early yesterday morning, police said.
The unidentified victim was found with a stab wound to the chest at Hampton Street and Elmhurst Avenue shortly before 6 a.m., cops said, adding they found no identification with him.
The man, about 30 years old, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he died 30 minutes later.

Police are searching for an elderly woman who vanished from her St. Albans home.
Esmeline Brown, 87, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, left her home at Francis Lewis Boulevard and 112th Avenue Tuesday evening, cops said.
Police could not provide a current picture, but said she has brown eyes, gray hair, stands 5-foot-6 and weighs 100 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a blue dress and white sneakers.
STATEN ISLAND
An off-duty firefighter was arrested on drunken-driving charges after nearly crashing into an off-duty school safety agent, authorities said yesterday.
Gerard McKay, 22, was driving a 1996 Cadillac along Greeley Avenue in New Dorp at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday when he almost hit Robert Lo Bosco, police said. Lo Bosco, 43, fought with the firefighter and police were called.
McKay was given a Breathalyzer test that showed him nearly three times over the legal limit, police said.
Lo Bosco, who works at IS 234 in Brooklyn, was given a desk-appearance ticket on an assault charge and McKay was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, according to a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

A 24-year-old day laborer plunged approximately two stories to his death yesterday morning in a construction accident in Grasmere, police sources said.
Cops were summoned to 2071 Clove Road at 10:55 a.m. and found the unconscious victim lying face up, the sources said.
He was declared dead at the scene. His name was not released pending family notification.

Police arrested a drunken driver who had a loaded gun in his car in Mariners Harbor.
Dimitrius Hall, 27, was pulled over at Andros Avenue near Richmond Terrace Wednesday afternoon for erratic driving and not having license plates on his white 1995 Cadillac, police said.
Cops found a loaded .22-caliber Ruger in the back seat along with a bottle of alcohol.
The suspect, who was slurring his speech and had the odor of alcohol on his breath, refused to take a Breathalyzer test, police said.
