Police yesterday were searching for a thug who fatally shot a teenager in the stomach behind a High Bridge apartment building.

Paul McIntosh, 42, attacked Maurice Rivera, 18, behind a University Avenue building at 6:40 a.m. on June 27, cops said.

Queens

Cops are searching for a mentally impaired man who disappeared after boarding a bus in Flushing. David Vargas , 20, was last seen aboard the Q25 bus at Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue at 7 a.m. last Friday.

Manhattan

A Bronx man was arrested for striking a woman in the head with a metal ice bucket in a Chelsea nightclub, authorities said yesterday.

Davone Jones, 26, of Mott Haven, was near the 24-year-old victim, who was dancing with friends in the club on West 14th Street near Ninth Avenue at 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

When she asked Jones to move away, he started arguing with her, and an acquaintance of the victim intervened, the Manhattan DA’s Office said. Jones allegedly picked up the ice bucket and hurled it at the acquaintance, but missed and struck the victim.

An elderly Israeli armed forces veteran was tied up and robbed in his Midwood home by a group of thugs who pushed their way through the door, police sources said.

The 82-year-old, wheelchair-bound man was in his home on East 18th Street with his health aide just before 2 p.m. yesterday when the bandits stormed in. They brandished a gun and bound the pair with duct tape before fleeing with cash.

Brooklyn

A teenager was beaten by two groups of assailants on a Midwood street, authorities said yesterday.

The thugs were driving in two separate cars at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when they pulled up to the 18-year-old victim at Coney Island Avenue and Avenue O, cops said.

One suspect, Beny Nisanov, 17, allegedly struck the victim in the leg with a baseball bat.

Staten Island

Police nabbed a man who molested a 12-year- old boy outside the victim’s Arlington home, cops said yesterday.

Alberto Maldonado, 39, fondled the boy at around 10 p.m. Sunday, police said. The next day, the victim’s mother spotted the suspect on Lake Avenue and called cops.

Maldonado was charged with sexual abuse and child endangerment, according to a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
