Brooklyn
An elderly man was found bound and beaten to death yesterday in his Williamsburg apartment, police said.
The 78-year-old man, who suffered blunt trauma injuries to his neck, was discovered by a neighbor in his apartment at the Williamsburg Houses at 178 Maujer St. at about 11:30 a.m., cops said. His name was withheld pending family notification.

One of two thieves was arrested after swiping about 35 football jerseys from a Park Slope sporting-goods store, authorities said yesterday.
Cornell Louree, 26, and an accomplice allegedly grabbed more than $3,000 worth of jerseys from a display case in the Footlocker store on Fifth Avenue at 14th Street on Jan. 25, sources said.
As the suspects sped away in a blue Chrysler Voyager, a witness jotted down its license plate and gave it to police.
Cops traced the vehicle to Louree’s nephew, who had lent it to Louree, the sources said. Louree was busted Thursday. His alleged accomplice is still at large.

A fight over rent money landed a woman in jail for terrorizing her roommate with a hammer in their Downtown Brooklyn apartment, cops said yesterday.
Ngone Sy, 35, clashed with her 47-year-old roommate in their apartment on Bridge Street near Flatbush Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Jan. 31, cops said.
Sy allegedly picked up a hammer and chased the other woman, who retreated to her bedroom and shut the door.
Sy then used the hammer to smash a hole in the door, cops said.
The victim called 911, and Sy was busted on various charges, including attempted assault and menacing. No one was injured.
Queens
A bouncer was arrested in a triple stabbing at a Hollis nightclub, where he knifed two people after interceding in an argument, authorities said yesterday.
Argenis Collado, 26, got involved in the brawl at Club Mavi on Jamaica Avenue and 205th Street at about 2:40 a.m. on Jan. 27, sources said.
Collado allegedly stabbed one man in the chest and another in the side. A third man was stabbed in the stomach by an unknown person.
The victims were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Collado was charged with assault, a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown said.

A man who allegedly stole a Jeep was nabbed after he rammed it into a police car in Jackson Heights, authorities said yesterday.
Police spotted Pedro Taveras, 40, driving the 1992 white Jeep through two red lights near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and Northern Boulevard at about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 26, sources said.
With lights and sirens on, the officers tried to pull over Taveras, who allegedly had stolen the Jeep six days earlier.
Taveras then slammed into the police car, causing it to spin out and slam into a cement barrier, cops said.
He stopped the Jeep, got out and lay down on the ground with his hands underneath his body to prevent police from arresting him, cops said.
Police eventually cuffed Taveras, who was charged with assault, criminal mischief, possession of stolen property and reckless endangerment.

A drunken motorist was caught with crack and marijuana after he got into an accident in Middle Village, authorities said yesterday.
Thomas Falzone, 19, was found sleeping at the wheel of a 1993 Honda Civic at 81st Street and 62nd Avenue at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 27 after he had gotten into an accident at an unspecified location and fled the scene, sources said.
Police found him in possession of marijuana and a pipe containing crack cocaine, cops said.
After allegedly failing a Breathalyzer test, Falzone was charged with DWI and drug possession.

A fight over a parking space led to a man being beaten, then struck by a car, in Forest Hills, authorities said yesterday.
The 25-year-old victim was trying to park his car at 70th Road and Austin Street last Monday when Charles Nixon and Crystal Hodges, who had moved toward the same spot, argued with him.
Nixon, 39, allegedly sat on the hood of the victim’s car. Then Hodges, 29, hit the victim with her car after he got out, police said. Nixon allegedly grabbed the man and threw him down, injuring his shoulder.
The suspects were later caught and charged with assault and harassment, said a spokesman for the DA.
The Bronx
Two men were clinging to life yesterday after being stabbed by three thugs on a Bruckner street, police said.
The victims, ages 27 and 30, got into an argument with the assailants at 5 a.m. on East 174th Street near Commonwealth Avenue.
The suspects knifed the 27-year-old in the torso and stabbed the other man in the back of the head.
Both victims were rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.
The attackers fled.
Manhattan
A man apparently committed suicide yesterday by jumping in front of a subway train at a Midtown station, authorities said.
The unidentified victim was struck by a northbound N train as it entered the 49th Street station at Seventh Avenue at around 5:40 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Staten Island
A homeless woman stole a car in New Dorp Beach and drove into a house, authorities said yesterday.
Marcella Hunter, 28, jumped into a 2008 Cadillac parked with its engine running in front of a house on Milton Avenue and went on a two-block joyride at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, law-enforcement sources said.
Hunter got as far as Hett Avenue and Tysens Lane, where she plowed through a fence and into a home, the sources said.
After she was arrested, Hunter said, “I never drove a car before so I took it because I wanted to drive.”
She was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and weapon possession after cops found a gravity knife on her, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
