A knife-wielding thug stabbed a man after an alleged physical altercation in an East Flatbush bodega, authorities said yesterday.

Kenver Joseph, 20, allegedly grabbed a butcher knife and stabbed the 23-year-old victim in the chest in the store at Albany Avenue and Rutland Road at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Responding cops arrested Joseph on assault charges, sources said.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A South Brooklyn woman was arrested for beating and biting her boyfriend after a night of drinking at a bar, authorities said yesterday.

Erin English, 22, clashed with her boyfriend for unknown reasons as they drove from the bar back to their 17th Street home near Fourth Avenue at 3:20 a.m. Monday. When the couple got home, English began hitting her beau and bit him on the shoulder, cops said. She then allegedly punched him in the mouth, leaving a deep gash on his lip.

The victim went to Methodist Hospital, where he received four stitches. English was arrested and charged with assault.

A robber was charged with slashing two people in a Sheepshead Bay grocery store, authorities said yesterday.

Craig Wendley, 39, and an accomplice allegedly confronted a man and woman in a bodega on Nostrand Avenue near Avenue V at 5:30 a.m. last Sept. 9.

Wendley brandished a knife as he and an accomplice demanded money from the man, cops said.

Wendley then shoved the man against a wall and stole $39 from him while the woman screamed, cops said. He then slashed the woman behind the ear, cut the man’s cheek and fled with his cohort, police said.

Wendley was arrested Monday on assault and robbery charges after a witness identified him from police mug shots.

MANHATTAN

An alleged thief was arrested after depositing a forged $95,800 check into his account and making several cash withdrawals from it at a Lower East Side bank, authorities said yesterday.

Between Feb. 8 and Saturday, Isiah Smith, 21, allegedly altered a check belonging to a woman who also has an account at the Washington Mutual branch on Delancey Street near Ludlow Street.

Smith allegedly made the check out to himself, put his signature on the back and deposited it into his own account. He then made at least five cash withdrawals from his account – until a bank employee discovered the thievery, sources said. Smith was arrested Saturday and charged with grand larceny and forgery, said a spokeswoman for the DA’s Office.

Police arrested a man who allegedly attacked and threatened to kill his estranged girlfriend in his Gramercy Park apartment, authorities said yesterday.

Joseph Travella, 28, allegedly grabbed a cellphone from the victim’s hand in his First Avenue apartment at East 20th Street at 9:15 p.m. Friday, cops said, then hit her in the head.

Travella pushed and punched the victim in the chest, then grabbed a knife and threatened to kill her, authorities said.

Police arrested Travella, who was charged with assault, menacing and weapon possession, the DA’s spokeswoman said. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A DNA match led to the arrest of an alleged burglar who swiped artwork and framed photos from a West Village office, authorities said yesterday.

Wayne Jandura, 45, allegedly used a hammer and a screwdriver to break into the office on Sixth Avenue near Ninth Street at 6:30 p.m. last June 2. He made off with various items, including paintings, two framed photos and a clock – but left behind the screwdriver with his DNA on it, cops said.

After matching it to a DNA sample on file, cops busted the suspect last Friday and charged him with burglary.

A robber from The Bronx was arrested for swiping cash from a man in a Flatiron District apartment building, police sources said yesterday.

Anthony Burkett, 48, of Claremont, allegedly snatched the 36-year-old man’s money in the West 17th Street building near Seventh Avenue at 11 a.m. Thursday. Police caught Burkett early the next morning and charged him with burglary

STATEN ISLAND

A drunken driver was arrested after his vehicle sideswiped a car and crashed into a light pole in Bay Terrace, authorities said yesterday.

Alfred D’Albero, 19, was driving a 1998 Nissan east on Hylan Boulevard at 1:45 a.m. Saturday when he struck a 2007 Nissan and slammed into the pole at Keegans Lane, sources said.

Cops noticed D’Albero reeked of booze and was slurring his words, authorities said. He refused a Breathalyzer test and was charged with DWI, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

Police arrested three men in Arlington after finding them in possession of a large quantity of crack cocaine and a prescription pill, authorities said yesterday.

Cops allege they spotted John Alvarez, 31, tossing a Xanax pill on the ground as he emerged from a 1994 Toyota at Brabant Street and Harbor Road at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alvarez was grabbed by the officers, who searched the car occupied by José Nunez, 45, and Vinas Bernerdino, 56, cops said. Inside the vehicle, the officers found the crack cocaine, and the trio was charged with drug possession.

QUEENS

Police are investigating the murder of a man in South Ozone Park yesterday.

Cops found the 20- to 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound at 134th Street near Lincoln Road at about 11 a.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
