Cops are searching for the granny-bashing bandit pictured above who mugged an elderly woman as she was entering a Far Rockaway bank, police said.

The man allegedly walked up to the 78-year-old victim at 17-39 Seagirt Boulevard and snatched her purse, knocked her to the ground and ran.

The woman was taken to Peninsula Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries to her right hand and knee.

Brooklyn

One of two burglars was nabbed after they broke into a Bushwick warehouse and swiped 24 boxes of sneakers, authorities said yesterday.

Troy Johnson, 27, and an accomplice allegedly broke into the warehouse, on Broadway at Flushing Avenue, at 1:14 a.m. Tuesday.

They tripped an alarm, alerting the warehouse’s owner, who called police.

When cops arrived, they spotted Johnson and his cohort emerging from a hole on the side of the warehouse and followed them to a lot next door, police said.

Johnson was arrested, but his alleged cohort got away. Police recovered the sneakers.

Two hookers were arrested for stabbing each other in Bushwick, authorities said yesterday.

Lati Mills, 20, clashed with Latoisha Fields, 28, on Broadway near Jefferson Avenue at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Mills told cops she was working by herself in the area when Fields approached with a man believed to be her pimp.

Mills said the man asked her whom she was working for, and then Fields demanded that Mills leave.

When Mills refused, Fields allegedly pulled two knives and stabbed her in the neck and face.

According to Fields, she then exchanged angry words with Mills and started walking away when Mills stabbed her in the back.

Police arrested the pair.

Neither suffered life-threatening wounds.

Manhattan

A man was arrested after he swiped a purse and fractured a woman’s elbow when she tried to stop him from fleeing an Upper East Side hospital, cops said yesterday.

Dwayne Williams, 36, allegedly snatched the pocketbook in a room where people sleep at Lenox Hill Hospital at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

A woman saw the theft and tried to prevent Williams from leaving, sources said.

As he dashed from the hospital, Williams allegedly knocked down the woman, fracturing her elbow.

He was busted that day.

Two teens were arrested for beating and robbing their neighbor in the elevator of the Upper West Side building where they live, authorities said yesterday.

Kimberly Rodriguez, 16, and Christina Rosario, 18, encountered the female victim in the lobby of the building, on Columbus Avenue near West 100th Street, at 10:50 p.m. Sunday.

After some small talk, the trio rode the elevator to the victim’s floor. When she tried to exit the elevator, the suspects allegedly yanked her back by the hair.

As the elevator descended to the lobby, the girls pummeled the victim and Rosario took her cellphone, police said.

The girls fled, but were later busted.

Police nabbed a would-be burglar who tried to break into a commercial building in Midtown, authorities said yesterday.

An officer saw Larry Rodriguez, 47, using a broomstick in an attempt to pry open a door on Fifth Avenue at East 30th Street at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, sources said.

A pedestrian approached Rodriguez, who quickly stopped what he was doing and walked away, the sources said.

When the pedestrian left the area, Rodriguez allegedly resumed trying to pry open the door.

But Rodriguez apparently didn’t notice the cop, who busted him.

Staten Island

Police arrested two men for possessing drugs and counterfeit money after they were caught smoking a joint in a car, authorities said yesterday.

Cops saw Liran Rabin, 20, and Arthur Shnyderman, 21, allegedly smoking reefer in the vehicle on Princeton Avenue at South Railroad Avenue at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday.

They arrested the pair and searched the car, finding Xanax pills and $220 in counterfeit bills, a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan said.

Two would-be burglars were arrested after a witness spotted them trying to break into a Concord residence, authorities said yesterday.

Paul Johnson, 33, was acting as a lookout while William Robinson, 34, pried and kicked the door of a home on Mosel Avenue at Steuben Street at 11 a.m. Tuesday, sources said.

The witness saw the suspects and called 911. Police responded, and the men were charged with attempted burglary.

A mother and son from New Jersey were arrested after filing a false claim with a Great Kills insurance company saying their car had been stolen, law-enforcement sources said.

Enrica Sedita, 58, of Old Bridge, and her 33-year-old son, Vincent, of Metuchen, were nabbed after investigators from Liberty Mutual discovered that they had filed sham paperwork at the insurance company’s Amber Street location.

The Seditas falsely reported that their 2006 Dodge Ram had been stolen, sources said.

Three drug dealers were arrested for selling narcotics out of a two-family home in Arlington, law-enforcement sources said yesterday.

Simone Pemberton, 38, Richard Gordon, 16, and Anthony Johnson, 17, were found with large quantities of marijuana and crack cocaine, along with scales and packages for distribution, at 72 South Ave. Monday night.
