A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in the stomach in front of 250 Beach St. in East Rockaway early yesterday.

Arriving cops were the victim, Edward DeJesus, had been shot by another man.

Mortally wounded, DeJesus was taken to St. John’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

An unknown gunman shot 21-year-old Michael Wilson of Linden Boulevard in Brooklyn late Friday, police said.

He was hit in the head at Dwight Avenue and Bay 32nd Street in East Rockaway at 11 p.m., police said

He was taken to St. John’s Hospital, where he was treated for a graze wound and released.

Brooklyn

A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death in Sheepshead Bay yesterday afternoon, police said.

The victim, Vyachaslav Belous of Bedford Avenue, had been driving his wife and baby when he parked his Mercedes at 11th Street and Shore Parkway and got out.

Police said he was confronted by an unknown male who stabbed him once in the chest before running away. Belous died half an hour later at Coney Island Hospital.

Manhattan

A Department of Environmental Protection worker, who police identified as Edwin Vasquez, 35, was arrested for sex abuse on the corner of Washington and 12th streets in Greenwich Village.

A public phone booth across the street from an Islamic mosque at 96th Street and Third Avenue was discovered by a passer-by to be covered with anti-Muslim graffiti.

A bank robber walked into the Country Bank branch at 902 Second Ave. on the Upper East Side and passed a holdup note to a teller.

The teller handed over $3,000, and the suspect fled the scene.

Bronx

A 35 year-old towing company employee was beat up by two men who came into his Castle Hill shop looking to retrieve a truck from his lot, police said yesterday.

He told police the duo began arguing with him around 4 p.m. on Friday at the 809 Zerega Ave. business when the dispute got out of hand, turning physical. Joseph Quinones, 44, and Harold Pitts, 40, allegedly assaulted the victim, who was later taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where he was treated and released.

Quinones and Pitts were both arrested and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, trespassing, menacing and acting in concert, according to a law enforcement source.

Staten Island

An Eltingville Catholic priest and former youth group leader was sentenced to 45 days in jail on sex charges.

Father Morgan Kuhl, 36, was accused of fondling a 16-year-old boy in 1999 at the teen’s home.
