Police yesterday were searching for the Upper West Side bank bandit pictured above.
The suspect passed a demand note to a teller in the Commerce branch on Broadway near West 62nd Street at 10 a.m. Tuesday, and fled on foot with an undisclosed sum.

A good Samaritan-turned-vigilante chased down a purse-snatcher and slashed him across the face in Greenwich Village, police said yesterday.
The incident began at 1 a.m. Tuesday when Curtis Martin, 38, swiped the purse from a woman near the PATH station at West 9th Street and Sixth Avenue, cops said.
The fleet-footed victim caught up to Martin a block away, where they got into a scuffle, police said.
Martin dropped the purse and ran, pursued by a mystery man who ran him down, pulled a blade, slashed him across the face and fled, detectives said.
Martin, who suffered a four-inch slash wound, was charged with robbery.
Brooklyn
Cops are hunting a thug suspected in a Coney Island gunpoint robbery.
Police said the pistol-packing suspect accosted a 26-year-old victim at West 23rd Street near Neptune Avenue at about 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The gunman forced the victim into the lobby of an apartment building, where he snatched cash and jewelry.

Police nabbed a hammer-wielding thug who attacked his girlfriend in Bushwick, authorities said yesterday.
Jessie Truitt, 54, bashed his 45-year-old gal pal in the head on Schaefer Street near Wilson Avenue at 7:40 p.m. Monday, cops said.
Police busted Truitt and recovered a .32-caliber gun he had dropped, sources said.
He was charged with attempted murder and weapon possession. The woman suffered head and eye injuries.

A young woman was arrested for stabbing a middle-aged man in Bedford-Stuyvesant, authorities said yesterday.
Using a pocketknife, Tandika Wright, 21, allegedly stabbed the 42-year-old man in the neck and chest on Putnam Avenue near Marcy Avenue at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday.
Wright was arrested that day and charged with assault.

Police are hunting the killer who gunned down a man in Bushwick.
Cops responded to a call of gunfire at around 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stagg Street and Bushwick Avenue outside the Williamsburg Houses.
They found a 26-year-old man slumped on the ground with a single gunshot wound to the stomach.
The victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he died.
Staten Island
A drunken motorist was found with cocaine and pills after he nearly collided with an off-duty cop’s private car in Westerleigh, authorities said yesterday.
Edward Saccone, 35, was driving at Victory Boulevard near Mann Avenue at about 5 a.m. Tuesday when he almost struck the car in which the cop and his girlfriend were riding.
Both drivers pulled into the parking lot of a nearby 7-Eleven.
Saccone jumped out and yelled at the cop, who promptly called 911, police said.
Arriving officers said Saccone reeked of booze.
When they frisked him, they found in his possession 50 small bags of cocaine and 300 pills, sources said.
A spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan said Saccone was charged with drug possession and DWI.
Queens
Police yesterday were searching for the woman pictured above who disappeared from her Springfield Gardens home.
Patricia Davis, 26 years old, 5-foot-5 and 120 pounds, was last seen leaving her home on 147th Avenue near 230th Street at 6 p.m. on Sept. 23, said cops, adding that she is mentally impaired.
She was dressed in a brown jogging suit.
