A mugger snatched a woman’s pocketbook on a Greenwich Village street, police said yesterday.

The man grabbed the bag from the 25-year-old woman at West Houston and Thompson streets at around 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

The two got into a tug of war, but the crook ripped the bag out of her hands and ran off.

A thief swiped $770 in jewelry and electronic equipment from a Murray Hill apartment, police sources said yesterday.

The intruder broke a door lock and entered the first-floor apartment on East 39th Street near Second Avenue at around 2 p.m. last Thursday.

Among the items taken was an Apple laptop, a platinum butterfly, stud earrings and gold ring.

Five days later, the 36-year-old female tenant reported the burglary.

A burglar swiped a $1,000 computer from an Upper East Side apartment, police sources said yesterday.

The thief climbed through the bedroom window of the apartment on East 75th Street near York Avenue and grabbed an HP Pavilion computer at 7:20 a.m. on Feb. 23.

The tenant, a 30-year-old woman, didn’t report the theft until Monday.

Two purse-snatchers assaulted a drunken teen in the West Village, police sources said yesterday.

The muggers shoved the 18-year-old female victim to the ground at Clarkson and Greenwich streets at around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

They then dragged her along the sidewalk until they tore away the purse and fled. The victim was not seriously hurt.

Two crooks accosted a woman and grabbed her BlackBerry on the Upper West Side, police sources said yesterday.

The men came up behind the 22-year-old woman on West 85th Street near Broadway after she got out of a cab and headed home at 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

One suspect put his hand over her mouth and said, “I won’t hurt you,” then took the BlackBerry.

Brooklyn

Three thugs trashed a man’s Bed-Stuy apartment and threatened to cut his “pretty face,” authorities said yesterday.

Anderson Wright, 44, and two accomplices allegedly kicked in the door to the apartment on Patchen Avenue near Lexington Avenue at 9:45 p.m. on March 9.

They confronted the 28-year-old man in the bathroom and demanded money he owed them.

The trio then allegedly shoved the man into the tub and destroyed his possessions, including picture frames, bowls, plant pots and a lamp.

One of the suspects grabbed a jagged piece from the lamp, put it to the victim’s neck and spewed, “I’ll cut your pretty face.”

The suspects fled, but Anderson was caught Tuesday and charged with attempted robbery, criminal mischief and attempted assault. His alleged accomplices are being sought.

A man was shot to death yesterday behind a Bed-Stuy building.

The 26-year-old man was shot in the head behind the building on Madison Street near Malcolm X Boulevard at around 1 a.m.

The victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, later died at Kings County Hospital. The shooter, whose motive was not known, fled.

Queens

Two thugs beat a man and smashed him with a bottle in a Flushing grocery store, authorities said yesterday.

Gabriel Dominguez, 27, and Francisco Gonzalez, 23, attacked the 20-year-old victim in Las Embajadas Market on Junction Boulevard and Corona Avenue at 12:20 a.m. Saturday.

Gonzalez allegedly punched the man in the eye while Dominguez smashed him in the head.

Police were called and arrested the suspects, who were charged with assault, a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown said.

Staten Island

A former medical worker was arrested for swindling 120 Vicodin pills after presenting a forged prescription to a Dongan Hills pharmacy, authorities said yesterday.

Michelle Segares, 24, who swiped two prescriptions from a doctor she once worked for, forged the physician’s name on one to obtain the tablets in a Walgreen’s on Hylan Boulevard near Seaview Avenue on Nov. 6, police said.

City Department of Health officials, who have been investigating similar cases, uncovered the alleged scam, and police arrested Segares on Tuesday.

A spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan said she was charged with drug possession and possession of a forged instrument.

A drug-addled man was arrested yesterday after police found “angel dust” on him outside a Stapleton school, authorities said.

Stephen Wise, 41, was stumbling around the grounds of IS 49 on Warren Street just after midnight, when patrolling officers approached him and found three glassine envelopes of angel dust, sources said.

As he was being cuffed, Wise allegedly flailed his arms. He was charged with resisting arrest and drug possession.
