* A thief who stole a life-size Dora the Explorer doll didn’t do much to hide his crime, police said.
Jonathan Ragsdale, 18, was spotted in Brownsville with the toy shortly after he allegedly stole it from Jong Trading on Bristol Street at 4 p.m. Thursday, cops said.
According to police, several men went into the store and one of them tried to chat up an employee, who noticed another man snatch the doll, walk out the door and hand it to Ragsdale, who fled.
The shopkeeper called 911, and officers soon stopped Ragsdale in possession of the doll, police said. When questioned by cops, he claimed a friend gave it to him.
He was arrested, while his cohorts were still at large.
* A FedEx employee was caught on camera looting a package at a distribution facility in Greenpoint, police said.
Clevelan Rembert, 21, was loading packages at the facility on Maspeth Avenue near Varick Avenue at 5 a.m. Wednesday, cops said.
A security guard spotted him on video opening a package and taking a digital camera, said a spokesman for DA Charles Hynes. He was later arrested.
Queens
* A woman was busted after she tried to make good on a threat to kill her estranged boyfriend in Cambria Heights, police said.
Schlisa Reddish, 24, called her ex-flame — the father of her daughter — on March 29 and threatened to kill him, sources said.
The former paramour left his home at 6 p.m. that day and spotted Reddish crouching beside his parked car on 234th Street near 138th Avenue, sources said.
She ran off after trying to ignite the car with a gasoline-soaked T-shirt, court papers say.
The next day, at 2 p.m, her ex-lover was walking outside the 105th Precinct station house on 222nd Street near 92nd Avenue when a car came roaring in his direction with Reddish behind the wheel and nearly ran him down, sources said.
Cops arrested Reddish Tuesday, said a spokesman for DA Richard Brown.
* A scheming tenant was busted six months after he stole his landlord’s luxury car in Belle Harbor, police said.
Ralph Lori, 47, moved into a home on Beach 131st Street near Rockaway Beach Boulevard and on Sept. 1 his landlord lent him her 2007 Mercedes-Benz, cops said.
Instead of returning the vehicle at the agreed-upon time, he came up with excuses and assured her it was safe, court papers revealed.
When she lost her patience and threatened to go to the police, he warned her she would be “sorry” if she contacted law-enforcement, sources said.
A few days later, the woman discovered the vehicle’s title was missing from her bedroom dresser drawer, and she called police.
The woman’s signature had been forged on the title and the vehicle had been sold at auction to a New Jersey car dealership, records revealed.
Lorio was charged with a slew of charges, authorities said.
* A man who did the “drink, dine and dash” at a Jackson Heights bar left his wallet behind and was busted when he tried to get it back, police said.
Marc Morley, 19, was drinking at Lenos Bar on Northern Boulevard near 80th Street in Jackson Heights at 5 a.m. Tuesday when the bartender handed him a $43 bill, cops said.
Morley ran out the door, leaving his keys and wallet behind, sources said.
He returned a short time later and taunted the bartender, cops said.
Cops showed up and wrestled Morley into custody.
* An intruder was busted with a sock full of crack at a Mariners Harbor housing project, police said.
Cops caught Dyshan Williams, 23, standing near a No Trespassing sign in the lobby of the Mariners Harbor Houses on Grandview Avenue near Brabant Street at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and asked him for ID.
When they found he didn’t live in the building, he was arrested for trespass.
Cops searched him and found 13 small plastic bags of crack cocaine in his sock, said police.
* A motorist led cops on a brief chase in Livingston after they tried to stop him for a traffic infraction, police said.
Emmanuel Meek, 37, was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet SUV when cops tried to pull him over on South Street near Richmond Terrace at 11 a.m. Wednesday, sources said.
Meek hit the gas and swerved into oncoming traffic with cops in pursuit, sources said.,
He finally halted and was arrested, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan. John Doyle
