A thief swiped $21,500 in eyeglasses after breaking into an Upper East Side optical store, police said yesterday.
The intruder clipped a lock on the front door of Henry Miller Opticians on Lexington Avenue near East 71st Street at about 5 p.m. Saturday.
He took 84 Lindberg frames, metal frames, Ray-Ban sunglasses and $62 in cash.

A burglar made off with electronic equipment from a SoHo hotel after using a master key to enter rooms, police sources said yesterday.
The crook gained access to two rooms in the Hampton Inn Hotel on Watts Street near Sixth Avenue at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
He stole a Casio camera, an iPod and a cellphone, then tried to leave through the lobby. A suspicious concierge chased the suspect, who managed to get away.

A deranged thief assaulted and robbed a mentally handicapped man in an East Village candy store, police sources said yesterday.
The bandit accosted the 35-year-old victim in the shop on East 14th Street near First Avenue at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The robber snatched cash from the victim’s hand, punched him in the face, grabbed his cellphone and fled.

Was her purse stolen or did she lose it?
That’s what cops are mulling as they probe a grand-larceny case at The Boathouse in Central Park.
On Monday night, a 51-year-old Bronx woman was having dinner with her husband in the restaurant when she went to the bathroom.
She returned to find her purse gone, and said someone had stolen it.
But her husband told police he was at the table the whole time and didn’t see anyone take the bag.
Brooklyn
A young woman has been arrested for attacking an EMT in a drug rage outside a Bay Ridge hotel, authorities said yesterday.
Brittann Rahming, 24, smoked angel dust and fell ill at the Best Western Hotel on Fourth Avenue and 83rd Street at around 9:30 p.m. on May 6, sources said.
The female EMT worker responded, put Rahming in an ambulance and began administering aid.
Suddenly, Rahming slammed the EMT into a cabinet and struck her in the arm, police said.
Rahming fled, but surrendered Tuesday and was charged with assault.

The manager of a Burlington Coat Factory outlet in Fort Greene was arrested for swiping nearly $1,400 worth of clothes from the store, authorities said yesterday.
Brian Silfan, 28, was caught on surveillance video stuffing clothes with price tags on them into three plastic bags in the store on Atlantic Avenue near Fort Greene Place at around 9:10 a.m. on May 22, police said.
Silfan then hid the bags under a flight of stairs so his friend could pick them up, cops said.
Silfan was arrested Tuesday and charged with grand larceny.
Staten Island
A teenage girl slashed her kid brother during an argument in their Grymes Hill apartment, authorities said yesterday.
Wilisha Griffin, 18, argued with her 14-year-old sibling over the volume on the TV in their second-floor apartment on Arlo Road near Howard Avenue at around 9 p.m. Monday, sources said.
She grabbed a knife and slashed the boy’s hand and wrist, causing injuries that required stitches, the sources said.
Griffin was arrested that day and charged with assault, menacing and weapon possession, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

A drunken man was busted for firing his gun into the sky in Port Richmond early yesterday, authorities said.
Police responded to a report of gunfire near the corner of Castleton and Sharpe avenues at around 1:30 a.m., and spotted Tyrell Jackson, 20, sources said.
As they approached, Jackson allegedly ran, and the officers gave chase.
He was caught after a brief pursuit, but allegedly wrestled with the officers. Police recovered a .45-caliber handgun, the sources said.
Jackson was charged with weapons possession and reckless endangerment.
Queens
Two thugs stabbed a man after a night of drinking in Little Neck, cops said yesterday.
Pedro Alvayero, 22, and José Otilio, 25, allegedly accosted the 44-year-old victim on Jessie Court near Northern Boulevard just after midnight Saturday.
Alvayero held the man down while Otilio stabbed him in the arm and back, according to court papers.
Cops were called, and grabbed the two suspects, who were charged with assault, said a spokesman for DA Richard Brown.
The injured man needed 10 stitches.
