Cops are hunting for a dapper robber who targeted Staples office-supply stores in Brooklyn and Queens.

The thief, decked out in a business shirt, tie and vest, stuck up the Staples on Ocean Avenue near Avenue X in Sheepshead Bay at 7 a.m. on June 16.

In that and two subsequent heists, the armed crook rounded up employees, put them in an office, forced the manager to open the safe and escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash, police said.

The crook hit the Staples in Midwood on Aug. 26 and a Jamaica outlet on Sept. 8.

The bandit is about 40 years old, stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

A female bandit tried to run, but certainly couldn’t hide, from the long arm of the law.

Jamie Hunter, 39, hailed a taxi on Eastern Parkway near Franklin Avenue in Prospect Heights at 7 a.m. Wednesday and asked to be driven to Park Slope, sources said.

At her destination, Hunter allegedly pulled a pistol.

The driver handed over an undisclosed sum of cash, the sources said.

The driver chased her into nearby Prospect Park, and cops on patrol joined in the pursuit, sources said.

They caught Hunter in the park and allegedly recovered the gun.

Police later linked Hunter to a robbery of a cabby on Aug. 29 on Prospect Park West, when she threatened to shoot the driver and fled with $150, sources said.

A petty crook with designer tastes was busted for the third time at a downtown Brooklyn department store.

Ralph Wilson, 45, allegedly swiped two bottles of Calvin Klein perfume off the counter in Macy’s on Fulton Street near Bridge Street at 3 p.m. Thursday.

A security guard spotted him stuffing the bottles into his pocket and grabbed him walking out the door.

The guard called police, and the responding officer reported having arrested the suspect twice before at the store.

A woman was fighting for her life yesterday after being run down by a drunken driver in Sheepshead Bay.

Zachary Kitt, 45, was behind the wheel of a 1997 Ford van driving along Nostrand Avenue near Avenue X at 6:30 p.m. Thursday when he struck a 22-year-old woman as she crossed Nostrand, police said.

The woman was listed in critical condition at Lutheran Hospital.

A Breathalyzer test revealed Kitt’s blood-alcohol level exceeded the legal limit, police said.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and vehicular assault.

Manhattan

Police are hunting for a killer in Harlem.

The thug opened fire on East 126th Street near Park Avenue at 10 p.m. Thursday, and Jamel Brown, 36, was struck in the head, thigh and chest, police said.

Brown died soon after at the hospital.

Queens

He may pay a big price for stealing small change.

David Chin, 47, caught the attention of a cop as he tinkered with a pay phone at 168th Street and Union Turnpike in Hillcrest at 5 p.m. on Sept. 16, authorities said.

The cop watched as Chin allegedly stuck a paper clip in the coin-return slot and fished out a handful of change.

The cop moved in and grabbed him, and found that the slot had intentionally been jammed, according to court papers.

Cops found $2.60 in coins, along with several paper clips, in Chin’s pocket, sources said.

He was charged with petit larceny and possession of burglar tools, said a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown.

Staten Island

Very alarming.

A motorist driving along Richmond Avenue in Graniteville at 8:20 p.m. Thursday lost control of her car, jumped the curb, and slammed into an FDNY fire-alarm box, sources said.

Cops said Angela Yannantuono, 54, had slurred speech and a flushed face and smelled of alcohol, sources said.

She admitted she had consumed two glasses of wine, sources said.

A Breathalyzer test revealed her blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit, according to court papers.

She was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving while impaired, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

He wasn’t happy to see them.

A young man standing outside his West Brighton building on North Burgher Avenue at 7 a.m. Thursday was busted after cops noticed a bulge in his pants, sources said.

They searched John Branch, 19, and allegedly found a loaded .25 caliber handgun in his pants. They also found 44 Ziploc bags of marijuana in his pocket, according to court papers.
