A woman was found stabbed to death in a Washington Heights apartment yesterday after a friend who hadn’t heard from her in a while alerted building management, police sources said yesterday.

The body of Irene Alameda, 35, was discovered with stab wounds to the chest in the kitchen of the friend’s apartment on West 165th street near Broadway at 9:45 p.m. Monday, cops said.

According to sources, Alameda had been apartment-sitting for the friend, who finally contacted the building superintendent to check on her.

Bronx

A thug beat and stabbed a robbery victim in Mott Haven, authorities said yesterday.

Ismael Rivera, 32, demanded money from the 21-year-old victim on East 138th Street near Brown Place at 6 a.m. Saturday, cops said.

Rivera then punched and kicked the man in the face and midsection and stabbed him in the hand, sources said.

Rivera was arrested on charges of assault and attempted robbery, said a spokesman for DA Robert Johnson.

The victim was treated for minor wounds.

Two men assaulted a victim with a baseball bat in an apparent shakedown in Melrose, cops said yesterday.

Ceasr Hernandez, 28, and José Ayala-Vasquez, 35, clashed with the victim on Courtland Avenue near 151st Street at 1:23 p.m. Saturday, sources said.

Ayala-Vasquez threatened the victim, saying, “If you’re not gonna pay, we’re gonna fight,” authorities said

The pair pushed the victim to the ground, pounded him with their fists and struck him in the head with the aluminum bat, cops said.

The suspects were arrested and charged with assault.

The victim was treated for lacerations.

A homeless-shelter resident hit a foe in the face with a can stuffed inside a sock in Morrisania, cops said.

Anthony Berrios, 34, confronted the 46-year- old victim in the shelter on Prospect Avenue near East 164th Street at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, sources said.

Berrios allegedly punched him in the head and struck him with the can, and was arrested on charges of assault and harassment.

The victim was treated for lacerations, police said.

Brooklyn

He just wigged out.

A raging husband in East Flatbush assaulted his wife after trying to rip off her hairpiece, authorities said.

Willey Lilley, 48, clashed with his 58-year-old wife in their residence on Avenue H near East 48th Street at 10 a.m. Sunday, cops said.

He allegedly tried to yank off her wig, then scratched her on the ear and neck.

Lilley fled, but was arrested the next day and charged with assault, said a spokesman for DA Charles Hynes.

The woman was treated for minor injuries.

Queens

A knife-wielding lunatic was busted after nearly killing his girlfriend in their Jamaica apartment, cops said yesterday.

Pedro Tzes, 48, argued with Jacqueline Davis, 38, in their basement apartment on Home Lawn Street at 4:40 p.m. Monday, sources said.

He grabbed a knife and went crazy, stabbing her in the chest and slicing off her left thumb, police said.

Davis was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.

Tzes was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, said a spokesman for DA Richard Brown.

Sakinah Cordner, 35, assaulted a woman with a cup of hot coffee after the victim accidentally bumped into her and apologized, authorities said.

The victim backed into Cordner in the cafeteria of a Brownsville women’s shelter on Saratoga Avenue and St. Marks Avenue at 8:10 a.m. Monday, cops said.

The victim apologized, but Cordner flew into a rage and splashed the coffee on the victim’s back, causing minor injuries.

Cordner was soon under arrest on assault charges.

Staten Island

OMG, hes gotta gn!

A Mariners Park variety-store worker was texting on his iPhone when a gunman stormed inside and fired a bullet into a refrigerator, cops said yesterday.

The assailant barged in on the 26-year-old employee in the store on South Avenue near Arlington Place at 11:15 p.m. Monday, shouted, “This one’s for you, Omar,” fired off a round and fled, sources said.

No one was injured.
