A pistol-packing thug shot a man during an altercation in a Melrose housing project yesterday morning, police sources said yesterday.
The assailant clashed with the 31-year-old victim in what may have been a marijuana sale gone bad in the lobby stairwell of the Jackson Houses on East 158th Street near Park Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
The triggerman brandished a .22-caliber gun and shot the victim in both legs before fleeing, authorities said.
The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

A man was busted after he applied for a driver’s license using his friend’s name at the Parkchester DMV office, authorities said yesterday.
Edwin Tejada, 21, allegedly presented a forged Puerto Rican driver’s license bearing his friend’s name to a Department of Motor Vehicles employee in the office on Commerce Avenue near Waterbury Avenue at around 11 a.m. Thursday.
He also allegedly filled out a new license application with bogus information.
The worker became suspicious upon seeing the bogus Puerto Rican license and reported the incident.
Tejada was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, criminal impersonation and making false statements.
Manhattan
A cyber-sleuth may have to face the music after hacking into a Hell’s Kitchen man’s Facebook page, police sources said yesterday.
The hacker got into the victim’s page at 1:30 p.m. on April 23 and changed his password on the account, preventing him from accessing it, authorities said.
The 39-year-old victim, who lives on West 50th Street, reported the incident three days later.
The computer creep is being sought.

A violent thief was nabbed by fast-acting cops after trying to make his getaway aboard a subway train in Midtown, police sources said yesterday.
Davon Harris, 23, got into a heated argument with two 28-year-old men on East 60th Street near Lexington Avenue at 3 a.m. Tuesday, cops said.
Harris allegedly struck both men. The men then ran down to a platform at the 59th Street station.
Harris allegedly caught up to them and swiped a gym bag belonging to one victim.
He then jumped on a train heading toward Grand Central Station.
Police radioed ahead and quickly arrested Harris at Grand Central on charges of assault and possession of stolen property.
The alleged victims sustained minor injuries.

Gee, with friends like this . . .
An assault suspect who stabbed a friend in the chest with an ice pick outside Brooklyn Criminal Court was recently captured, cops said yesterday.
Dymitrie Thelismond, 23, first saw his friend, 24, chatting on his cellphone while leaving the courthouse on Schermerhorn Street near State Street at 8:40 p.m. on April 23, cops said.
Thelismond tried to talk to the victim, who ignored him and kept speaking into the phone, police said.
Thelismond became irate, pulled out the ice pick, plunged it into the victim’s chest and ran off, cop said.
The victim, who needed surgery to remove the metal pick, later identified Thelismond in a police photo array, sources said.
Thelismond was arrested Thursday and charged with assault and weapon possession.

Being a parking agent can be a real pain.
An NYPD parking agent who was writing a ticket was struck by an angry motorist driving away from him in south Brooklyn, authorities said yesterday.
The agent was issuing a summons for the car — which had an expired registration sticker — on Fifth Avenue near 17th Street at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.
The motorist, Teddy Aragona, 47, ran up to the agent, spit in his face and cursed at him, authorities said.
Then Aragona jumped behind the wheel and drove off, striking the agent with the side-view mirror.
Police checked the plate number and traced it to Aragona’s ex-wife’s house on Staten Island.
After police spoke with Aragona’s ex, the suspect surrendered Thursday and was charged with reckless endangerment and menacing.
The agent was not seriously injured.
Queens
A woman needed a crash course in anger management after she assaulted her former boss with a glass cylinder filled with the victim’s business cards in Laurelton, authorities said yesterday.
Elxie Richards, 25, exchanged angry words with her ex-boss, also a woman, in an unspecified business on Merrick Boulevard near 229th Street at about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, sources said.
Richards then picked up the cylinder containing the business cards and threw it at the victim, striking her in the right wrist, cops said.
The cylinder fell to the ground and shattered.
Police were called and arrested Richards, who was charged assault and criminal mischief.
