A livery cab driver was clinging to life last night after being shot in a company car on a dead-end street in South Ozone Park, cops and witnesses said.
Trevor Bell, 53, of St. Albans, was hit in the neck while sitting behind the wheel of a gold Chevy Impala at 122nd Street near Sutter Avenue at 9 p.m. yesterday, cops said.
The victim, a husband and father of two, had been working for Big D’s Car Service for almost seven months, said owner Frank Favors, 71.
“He’s a very nice guy,” Favors said.
Favors also said the suspect had come into the service’s headquarters and specifically asked for a ride to the dead end before the killing.
Bell was in critical condition early this morning at Jamaica Hospital.

A masked gunman robbed a deliveryman in Flushing, authorities said.
Brandishing a gun, Joel Santos, 19, demanded cash from the 34-year-old deliveryman in a building on Cherry Avenue near Smart Street at 9:45 p.m. last Saturday, sources said.
The victim forked over $20 and Santos fled, the sources said.
The victim chased down the thief, who hit him in the face.
Two good Samaritans heard the deliveryman screaming and quickly nabbed the bandit in the lobby, sources added.
Santos, convicted of robbery last year, was charged with robbery and gun possession.
Brooklyn
A 4-month-old boy tragically died in Bushwick after a relative gave him over-the-counter cough medicine, police said.
Daniel Richardson was found unconscious and unresponsive by cops and EMS in a second-floor apartment on Greene Avenue near Evergreen Avenue at 6:49 p.m. Thursday, cops said.
A woman believed to be his aunt had mistakenly administered a deadly dosage, sources said.
The infant died at Woodhull Hospital. No criminality is suspected, police sources said.
Staten Island
Call them Bonnie and Bonnie.
Two women stole a safe containing $12,000 worth of loot from the Richmond Town home of a relative, authorities said.
Larissa Henderson, 25, and Nicole Venditti, 21, broke into the garage of Venditti’s mother’s home on Cranford Avenue near Richmond Road at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to court papers.
A witness spotted the pair removing the safe and called cops, sources said.
The suspects were tracked to their home in Bay Terrace and later admitted to the burglary.
Bronx
A thug stormed into a Williamsbridge home and terrorized a woman and her 2-year-old daughter, sources said.
Cartous Watson, 43, barged into an apartment on Barker Avenue near Magenta Street at 8 a.m. Wednesday, according to sources.
The tot began sobbing and hyperventilating after Watson allegedly snarled at the mom, “I’m gonna shoot you and your daughter,” according to court papers.
The goon then grabbed a metal rod and smashed a flat-screen TV, court papers state.
Police arrested Watson on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
Manhattan
Three goons in an SUV jumped a man who had been attempting to hail a cab in Chelsea, sources said.
The 33-year-old victim was trying to flag down a ride at 4 a.m. last Sunday at 10th Avenue and 14th Street when he was offered a lift by the perpetrators, according to the sources.
The victim declined the offer and walked off, only to be attacked several blocks away.
The brutes stole his cellphone and two credit cards, sources added.

A crook admitted to robbing a Murray Hill clothing store and a Hell’s Kitchen electronics boutique, sources said.
Ernest Covington, 54, allegedly told investigators he took $1,000 worth of clothing from C+C Children’s Wear on West 32nd Street near Fifth Avenue at 3:50 p.m. on Sept. 20.
He also copped to breaking into the Network Showroom on 37th Street near Ninth Avenue and stealing laptops and pocketbooks during the weekend of Nov. 6 and 7, sources added.
He was charged with grand larceny and burglary.

A heated argument that began in an East Side bar yesterday turned bloody outside when a man was slashed on the arm, sources said.
A thug and the 42-year-old victim started arguing inside a bar on 50th Street near First Avenue, according to sources.
The two men continued to argue as they left the pub and a few blocks away on 54th Street the unhinged goon pulled a sharp object, slashed the victim at 4:30 a.m. and fled, sources added.
The victim was treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
It was unclear if the two men had been previously acquainted.
