An auxiliary officer — with a fake gun and badge — was busted for allegedly impersonating a cop while attending an event at the Coast Guard station in Rosebank.

John Piraino, 22, was at the station on Search Lane near Anchor Place at 10 a.m. Saturday when an officer spotted the “weapon” in his gun belt and asked him for ID.

Piraino, 22, blurted out, “I’m a police officer from Brooklyn South Counterterrorism unit, my tax number is 445263,” according to a spokesman for DA Dan Donovan.

Cops quickly discovered it was a fake identification number and realized the gun and badge were also phony, authorities said.

They also recovered a fake pistol from Piraino’s car, two gravity knives and a magazine containing nine 45mm rounds, cops said.

He was arrested for criminal impersonation, criminal possession of a weapon, and possession of an imitation pistol.

Three teens can now pose for their mug shots.

Raymond Elie-Pierre, 18, Bevon Joseph, 17, and Lavell Belfont, 18, were busted after they attacked two young men with a cane after trying to pose for photos with the victims’ girlfriends, cops said.
