He was arrested for stealing flip-flops and sunglasses from an H&M on East 86th Street, authorities said.
Kemar Soloman, 22, allegedly swiped the merchandise at 2 p.m. last Saturday but was stopped as he tried to leave without paying.

Cops collared three car thieves for boosting a convertible BMW M3, authorities said.
José Perocier, 45, and Albert Rosario, 32, were stopped around midnight last Friday driving the stolen $55,000 car on West 126th Street in Morningside Heights, according to court papers.
The hot wheels boasted two forged vehicle-identification numbers, and officers soon discovered that the men’s accomplice, Jessica Chavez-Fermo, 26, had rented the car in Florida on June 6 and reported it stolen, cops said.
The woman allegedly confessed to stealing the car and to handing it over to her cohorts.
Bronx
Three teen terrors mugged a man in Fordham, authorities said.
“I want the money,” Phillip Richards, 16, barked at the victim as he squeezed his neck after cornering him on East 197th Street, near Webster Avenue, at 10 p.m. June 8, according to court papers.
The victim handed Richards $100 while Damien Morgan, 18, allegedly pointed a gun at him and David Carroll, 18, acted as a lookout.
The thugs also swiped $90 from the man’s wallet before fleeing, cops said. The teens were caught 15 minutes later.
Staten Island
Two brothers were nabbed for allegedly smuggling fireworks.
Joseph Correale, 48, and his brother, Frank, 37, had $3,000 worth of fireworks in their vehicle when the FDNY Fireworks Enforcement Unit stopped their car at 2 p.m. Thursday at Veterans Road East and Clay Pit Road after it came in from New Jersey, authorities said.

Cops broke up a drug deal in Mariners Harbor, authorities said.
Joseph Parsons, 39, allegedly had 18 small plastic bags of heroin in his shorts, as well as several hypodermic needles, when officers swarmed his car last Friday on the corner of Walker Street and Simonson Avenue, court papers state.
Also in the vehicle was Besim Ferluckaj, 29, who was allegedly holding heroin in his hand when cops moved in for the arrests.

A crook was collared for taking more than $1,000 worth of jewelry from an acquaintance’s Graniteville home, authorities said.
On April 20, Salvatore Marchiano, 40, allegedly entered the Regis Drive residence and snatched five gold rings and two gold bracelets.
Police traced the bling to a jewelry store where it had been hocked, and Marchiano was arrested June 8, said a spokesman for DA Dan Donovan.

Police are asking the public’s help in finding this girl (above), who ran away from her Borough Park home.
Wendy Liu, 13, was wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans when she disappeared June 7 from her Fort Hamilton Parkway home near 57th Street.
Queens
An off-duty cop was arrested yesterday for DWI after he allegedly caused an accident on the Cross Island Parkway in Bayside.
Officer Marcello Massafra, 26, of the 48th Precinct in The Bronx, allegedly hit another car near Northern Boulevard Monday night, slightly injuring one of the people inside.
Massafra was arrested at the scene and suspended.

A brute was busted for threatening to beat a man in Astoria, court papers say.
Hamza Bhayer allegedly waved a metal bracket at the victim as the two argued June 1 on 26th Street near 21st Avenue.
Cops found the makeshift weapon nearby and arrested Bhayer, said a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown.
