A Brownsville man died in a hail of bullets outside a neighborhood deli and grocery store early yesterday, cops said.
Anthony McRae, 22, was struck with four bullets at 4:30 a.m.; police had no suspects or motive in the slaying. McRae was working tow jobs to help support a 2-year-old son, relatives said.

A man who was shot in the face during a cookout near his East Flatbush residence managed to stagger home and call police before dying.
Jerry Armstrong, 45, was shot at about 10 p.m. Saturday on East 95th Street near East New York Avenue.
Despite wounds to his face, left shoulder and right forearm, he made it around the corner to his home on East New York Avenue, and called 911.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Cops yesterday were still seeking a motive and the shooter.

A burglar who swiped money and jewelry from two Canarsie stores in April was done in by a DNA match, cops said.
Sean Smith, 29, first struck at Canarsie Best Laundry on Flatlands Avenue at 9 p.m. April 6, when he used a ladder to crawl through a boarded window at the shop and steal coins totaling $120, cops said.
The next morning, he allegedly smashed a window at Rodeo Drive Jeweler on Rockaway Parkway and scooped up $3,000 in bling, as well as a laptop. He fled — but left behind a flashlight with his DNA on it, officials said.
Police matched it to a profile of his DNA, which was already on record from a previous bust, and arrested him Wednesday.
He was then linked to the laundry burglary after investigators identified him from surveillance video, cops said.

Cops yesterday were hunting for a gunman who opened fire at a house party in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, wounding five.
The party was in full swing in a home on Fenimore Street near Nostrand Avenue shortly after midnight yesterday when the thug opened fire, hitting four men and one woman,
The victims were all hospitalized and listed in stable condition.
Bronx
A hammer-wielding madman was arrested after he tore a path of destruction through his baby mama’s home in Concourse Village, authorities said.
Terrill Powell, 24, was arguing with the woman in her home on East 148th Street near Brook Avenue at about 11 p.m. June 10 when he grabbed a hammer from the kitchen and smashed a hole in a painting hanging on the wall, then smashed the TV, according to court papers.
He then choked and threatened to kill the woman, the papers claim. When she tried to call police, he ripped the phone from her hand and tossed it out the window, a police source said.
He was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault, harassment and criminal mischief.

Two days after the death of 5-year-old Jamar Johnson of E. 227th St., his 21-year-old mom, Kim Crawford, was arrested and charged in the case, authorities said yesterday. The little boy died Friday of massive injuries to his chest and stomach.

A man was busted after he allegedly beat and tried to rob two young brothers in Longwood.
Jeremy Pol, 19, allegedly grabbed the boys on Bryant Avenue near East 174th Street at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Pol allegedly threw a punch at one of the siblings and missed, then demanded his cellphone.
The boy refused to hand it over, and they struggled, a police source said. The boy’s brother jumped in, as did an accomplice of Pol’s.
The suspects allegedly beat both boys and rifled through one of their bookbags before fleeing empty-handed. Pol was arrested nearby and charged with attempted robbery, assault and harassment, authorities said. His pal fled.
Manhattan
Cops investigating a shoplifting at an Upper East Side CVS at 2 a.m. Wednesday spotted a man fitting the description of the perp just around the corner, on Third Avenue near East 73rd Street, about a half-hour later, officials said.

Two female hellions were busted for mugging a woman in Midtown, authorities said.
The 22-year-old victim was on Lexington Avenue near East 47th Street at 4 a.m. June 4 when Jessica Aguerre and Karla Santos, both 30, pulled up alongside her in an SUV and yanked at her pocketbook, according to court papers.
The woman was allegedly dragged part of the way down the block as she unsuccessfully tried to hold on to her bag, which contained three credit cards and $500.
The suspects fled, but detectives traced the vehicle’s license plate back to Santos’ mother. The duo was arrested June 9.
