Talk about a dirty crime!
A Sears employee at the Rego Park store was caught on camera stealing company cash she had stashed in a trash can, authorities said.
On June 1, sometime between 4 and 9 p.m., Latisha Martinez, 21, swiped an unknown sum of cash from a register at the Queens Boulevard store, shoved it into a small bag and put it in a garbage can, court papers state.
She then allegedly hauled the receptacle to another room and retrieved the dough.
The woman pulled the same scam on June 8 and 10, cops said.
Martinez was spotted on surveillance video and police were summoned, cops added.
A review of her register receipts found shortages on June 1, 8 and 10.
“They don’t have the proof that I took the money. Where’s that part on the video that shows me taking the money?” Martinez whined to cops, according to court papers.
She was arrested on June 15.

The suspect stole corporate bank-account information on Jan. 22 from a victim who lives in Astoria and cashed the checks at three separate TD Bank branches in Manhattan.

A scam artist used a fraudulent credit card in a bid to buy $44 worth of groceries at a Flushing supermarket, authorities said.
Yu B. Zhao, 43, allegedly used the phony plastic on June 16 at 9:45 a.m. at Gold City Supermarket on Kissena Boulevard near Holly Avenue.
The card reader declined the transaction and responding police quickly learned that the card, embossed with the suspect’s name, was a fake, cops said.
Zhao allegedly admitted paying $200 for the card, authorities said.
He was charged with identity theft, criminal possession of a forged instrument and unlawful possession of personal identification, according to a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown.
Manhattan
A serial shoplifter was busted after targeting four boutique shops around Union Square, authorities said.
On Saturday, Carolyn Reed, 42, swiped a $98 sweater from Lulu Lemon, court papers state.
She also allegedly snagged $430 worth of clothing, including pants and a green leather bag, from Anthropologie, and a pair of sneakers from the display in Journeys.
She was arrested that day and charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
She was also linked to the June 13 theft of $4,000 in lingerie, including nine bras and five pairs of underwear, from Journelle, court records show.
Brooklyn
Cops have released a photo of Orpheus Nelson (bottom photo), whom they are seeking in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
A police spokesman did not know if Nelson, 18, who has a prior bust for robbery, was the suspected stabber.
The victim, Darell Smith, 17, got into an altercation with a foe on Pacific Street and was stabbed multiple times in the chest at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Smith, who has prior drug arrests, was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
Staten Island
An Oakwood woman was accused of stealing jewelry and silverware from two acquaintances, authorities said.
On March 20, Kathryn Platis, 27, hocked boosted baubles, including rings, bracelets and a necklace, at Cash for Gold on Hylan Boulevard in Dongan Hills, according to court papers.
Then, on four occasions in April, she allegedly sold off gold earrings and charms, as well as forks, knives and spoons, at the same shop.
She was arrested Tuesday and charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

Cops arrested a man wanted for burglarizing several businesses, authorities said.
Jonathan Camacho, 23, allegedly drilled through cinderblock walls at seven commercial establishments in order to gain entry and steal cash and other items.
He also stole a Nissan Cube sport utility vehicle in Dongan Hills on April 23, court papers charge.
Camacho was arrested Tuesday. His accomplice, Roger Fischer, was nabbed on May 23.
