* This man (above) is sought for questioning about a shooting last week on a Flatbush street that wounded four people – including a 12-year-old boy.
Roger Plaza, 25, is sought in connection with the Aug. 21 shooting spree in front of 261 Lenox Rd., said cops.
The 12-year-old boy was hit in his left buttocks. Two men – a 22-year-old and a 20-year-old – were shot in their right legs, and a 23-year-old man was hit in his left leg, police said.
Plaza, whose last known address is in Canarsie, is 6 feet tall, weighs about 150 pounds and is known to frequent East Flatbush and Bushwick.
STATEN ISLAND
* A 16-year-old youth has been arrested on graffiti charges after he was caught with a can of spray paint in his hands and bragging to a cop how he had left his “tag” on a nearby wall, according to a criminal complaint.
The incident occurred just after midnight yesterday when plainclothes cop Michael Lopresti spotted Mustaba B. Ramos standing in front of a wall at 566 Bay Street, the complaint states.
The wall was marred by the graffiti tag “MBB” and another inscription and Ramos, not realizing Lopresti was a cop, allegedly boasted: “Those are my initials; I wrote my initials,” the complaint charges.
In addition to a charge of making graffiti, Ramos was booked on criminal mischief and possession of a graffiti instrument – the can of black spray paint he was holding.
* Two teens were facing arraignment yesterday for trying to stick up a merchant before running off, according to a criminal complaint.
Michael Evans and Robert Lewis, both 18, allegedly entered a store at 535 Vanderbilt Ave. at 10 p.m. last Saturday. Evans pulled a gun on the shopkeeper and said: “Give me all the money [expletive],” the complaint states.
It was unclear why the duo ran away, but both were nabbed late Thursday evening and charged with attempted robbery.
MANHATTAN
* A forgetful commuter who left a suitcase behind on a city bus near City Hall yesterday afternoon caused a bomb scare that closed off traffic in for half an hour, police said.
The incident unfolded shortly after 4 p.m. on Broadway near Chambers Street, when a passenger saw a suitcase that was left unattended on a bus.
That prompted the arrival of the Bomb Squad and led to streets being closed until the item was identified as personal property left behind.
* A team of three gunmen committed a bold jewelry heist in Harlem Thursday night, police said yesterday.
The caper unfolded at 7:30 p.m. when three men – each of whom was armed with a pistol – entered a jewelry store at 252 W. 125th St. and leapt into action.
After one suspect went to the rear of the store and another stayed at the front door, a third gunman vaulted a counter and removed approximately $100,000 in diamond jewelry, bracelets and watches that he placed in a bag. All three suspects fled on foot.
QUEENS
* A gunman shot and wounded a man during a stick-up late Thursday near a Rego Park subway stop, police said yesterday.
The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. when a 31-year-old man was walking in a subway underpass for the R train, at 67th Avenue and Queens Boulevard and was confronted by a man in his 20s who displayed a gun and demanded money.
The victim turned over $80, but a struggle took place during which the suspect fired a shot, hitting the victim in the left hand.
The wounded man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
