This 16-year-old gun-toting ganja lover should have sprung for a MetroCard.
A cop patrolling a Cobble Hill subway station collared a turnstile jumper — and found that he happened to be packing heat.
Police Officer Renjith Menon, a three-year veteran of the NYPD, was on patrol in the Bergen Street station when he saw two men pass through the same turnstile at about 6:05 p.m. Saturday.
The freeloaders fled into a waiting train as Menon approached. But the cop managed to board the train and grabbed Tyrell Thomas.
As Menon tried to handcuff the perp, however, Thomas moved his hands toward his waistband — where he had a loaded .380 semiautomatic.
Menon stopped him from reaching the gun, authorities said — and later found weed in the suspect’s left sock.
Thomas was arrested on criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and other charges.
