A drunken straphanger’s shenanigans at a PATH train station during yesterday’s morning rush hour created a brief security scare, authorities said.

Lawrence Baca, 33, jumped onto the tracks at the Ninth Street station in Greenwich Village at about 7 a.m., officials said.

Service was briefly suspended as cops scoured the area looking for the misfit, who casually boarded a New Jersey-bound train after the incident, authorities said.

Rerouted trains dumped scores of frustrated commuters into the World Trade Center station.

Cops grabbed Baca at the Journal Square station in Jersey City.

“We did a full scan to assure he wasn’t a security threat,” said Port Authority spokesman Al Della Fave.

Baca was taken to Jersey Medical Center and slapped with a trespassing summons.

A teen is accused of snatching necklaces from Chinatown jewelry shops, authorities said.

Tevin Brisseau, 17, allegedly put a gold chain around his neck about 10:50 a.m., Jan. 3, while his accomplice stood outside and pressed a buzzer to unlock the doors of Popular Jewelry Corp. on Canal Street, near Lafayette Street.

The door opened, and the pair fled, according to police.

Nine days later, Brisseau went with two other thieves to a nearby store on Canal and tried to grab a chain from an employee’s hand, police said. The employee struggled and managed to get the jewelry back, authorities said.

Police caught Brisseau Jan. 13 and charged him with robbery and grand larceny.

He then ransacked her bedroom, but it was unclear if anything was taken.

Cops say the suspect is in his 20s, about 5-foot-9 and about 170 pounds. He wore black rimmed glasses, a hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.

A brazen thug was busted after jumping a food deliveryman in Mt. Hope, authorities said.

Wesley Patterson, 18, and three accomplices allegedly accosted the victim in the lobby of a building on Webster Avenue, near Alden Place, at 4:25 p.m., last Sunday, authorities said.

Patterson and his crew beat the worker to the ground while one thief whipped out a gun and snapped, “Give me the money,” court papers state.

The thugs then tried to swipe his bag but fled after a building security guard yelled “Stop!” court records show.

Police found Patterson the next day and charged him with attempted robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.
